Get Cousins at all costs!

Yeah only took 606 attempts to get there. If Prescott had that many attempts he'd be close to having those same yards. This is what you're not getting....we're a run first team. Prescott will NEVER even come close to sniffing 600+ attempts in a season.
Trust me I get it.....but I choose not to get it ;)

Hey bro just messn w ya. Yes we are a run first team. It's curious that In 2014, we led the league in rushing but our qb also had nearly 4 k in passing.

Hey Jerry how about you go out and get Cousins and give us a Franchise QB who's got all the talent necessary to take this Team along with Zeke and our offline to the Superbowl! Without a quality QB teams go nowhere (unless they have the 2000 Ravens def) and waiting for Dak to become a Cousins might take forever or simply never happen!

Jerry probably won't so our troubles at QB will continue and continue and continue!!!
Better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt

Where did I say he was the reason for the losses?
never said you did....but it seems we only want to give Dak credit for the bad....and not the good.
If he catches hell when we lose...he should get credit when we win.

QBs are judged by wins and championships.
dont believe me...look at Parcells criteria when evaluating QBs.

Wins and championships. are the only thing that matters in the end.

The Dak fan boys are broken records...the only thing they can use as a defense for him is something he has no claim to....a W/L record. QBs don't win games and they don't face each other....this is just common sense that shouldn't have to be explained to you over and over.

Cousins is much better than Dak and played for a franchise that makes our dysfunction seem like nothing.

Those claiming that even the Skins don't want him: false. They know they screwed the pooch with him and he was on his way out so they got desperate and made this god awful trade with KC. They would have been better off letting Cousins go and doing nothing. What's worse is that they paid Cousins a ton of cash on the tag for two straight years and literally got nothing long term out of it; would have been better off letting him go earlier or trading him. For all of our front office's faults, Washington remains the joke of the division. Good for Cousins on seeing himself out of that dumpster fire.

But as others have mentioned, we can't afford him. Dak will start next season which basically makes 2018 a throwaway year and hopefully the front office can find a prospect worth a damn in 2019.
Washington makes our dysfunctional franchise seen like nothing........ How many playoff wins do the Commanders have in the past 10 years?

He should get credit when performing his job on the field at a high level...the team overall gets credit for wins...not him as an individual. That's the big disconnect between the two sides of this argument....so many of you think this is over wins and losses. It was never about that...it's about watching his mechanics and ability and realizing that he's not an ideal guy to build an offense around. He's a guy who can play the position at a backup level and needs a lot of talent around him in order to be effective....and even then a defense can still gameplan against him because of his limitations.

I think you misunderstand my comment.

Edit: actually, you changed it....nice try

Edit 2: Okay, nevermind, going back to giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming you misunderstood my meaning and perhaps read it wrong.

Kurt Cousins threw more INTs than TDs, and completed less than 60% of his passes, his first two seasons in the NFL. In other words, he was worse than Dak. Amazingly, he got better.

Imagine that.

Cousins is all about the $$$. He has done nothing to warrant $25 per season. He puts up a lot of yards but he also put up a lot of turnovers. 13 ints and 6 fumbles last season vs 27 TDs. Jay Cutler 2.0. I will stick with Dak for another season and see how it pans out. He doesn't improve then we look for his replacement. Fix the o-line, we need a LG and swing tackle. Bell had his chance and failed, something he has done on several teams.

Actually, all the excuses revolve around Dak.. Dak was awful against the Commanders without any supporting cast.. the ironic thing is it took a “broken” hand for us to move the ball, because then Dallas was basically forced to run and the OL completely dominated a battered Commanders defense in the bottom 25 in the league..

Dak was probably even too scared to let Rush play for him considering how much he sucked this year.. couldn’t even give him reps against the third string Eagles..
Dak didn't suck this year. He had a few bad games but was on pace with the MVPs the first half of the season. In that game against Washington remind everybody what Dak stats were

Everybody gets one excuse after another. Heard it for years with Romo but Dak can't even get one more year.
I know last season Wentz got every excuse in the book. Let the same thing happen to Dak then he is garbage even though he had more TDs then Wentz for almost half the year and that's including the Denver debacle

his mechanics look like a QB in year 2 who lost his confidence.
if they had gone 12-4...or 4-2 w/out Zeke...alot of this chatter wouldnt be as loud.
One of the ways you determine if a QB is doing his job is...W/L record.

Please clarify what it means by Washington makes our dysfunctional franchise seem like nothing........I didn't edit or change my comment by the way

Those who are already wanting to move on from Dak after only two seasons listen up. Cousins had an 18-23 turnover ratio his first 3 seasons and despite 3 straight 4000 yard seasons he’s never thrown for more than 29 TD’s. I can remember a few years ago on this board when many were saying Cousins wasn’t that good, Now we have fans who want to go after him at all costs.

Dak haters misunderstand when folks defend Dak. Nobody has said Dak doesn't need to improve in fact most that defend him say he is still developing. Even when Dak went 13-2 as a rookie the ones that wanted Wentz still put Dak down. They were just waiting for Dak to make 1 mistake so they could jump on him since they took such a beating over Wentz last season.

Why do people who have varying degrees of reservations about Dak need to be "haters"? I love the kid. But as hopeful as 2016 made me, 2017 planted some very, very grave doubts in my mind about whether he can truly be "the guy."
