We did draft Carl Lewis back in the 80's.

And he never even considered playing not to mention I think he was a like a 12th round pick.

I say football is not a track meet.

I take your point, but Bullet Bob was a track star. This guy probably has never played football before though, unless he was educated in America.

I know. It was a luxury back in the day when you could do something like that.

New man law:

Only one project WR allowed on the roster at a time.

We have 3 right now. 4 if you count Pacman.

Not untill I see some progress out of Stanback. I agree, one project WR at a time.

Also, can we please, please stop saying stuff like 'git er done' etc? It only reinforces the stereotype that everyone in texas is a 24/7 beer swilling hick in cowboy boots.

I resent that assertion. I don't drink beer.

Yes, haven't been back(this is intentional). Houston is more like Texas than Dallas is(hence why I also avoid Houston. The humidity also manages to be worse there, than here. Plus the Texans suck!! I will never forgive them for winning their first game EVER against the cowboys, ugh what a crap season that was

I lived a number of years in Texas and loved it. Houston is not more Texas than Dallas, although Dallas is more Atlanta than Texas. Austin, New Braunfels, San Antonio, and even Odessa (ugly as it maybe) are nice places. Why? Because they are still Texas towns, with Texicans living there. Never met nicer, more honest and unpretentious people than in Texas.

But your right about one thing. The weather does suck there.

Nothing wrong with it, but people think that's all we drink here.

And fortdick, i love SA, Austin, and New braunfels, but that's about it as far as Texas goes. The people are nice here, but overall I just prefer the more direct (east coast) approach.

Although comparing Dallas to Atlanta is a low blow. :( That place is a nightmare. At least dallas has decent public transport.
