Well, if 6' 5", 270 pounds of Jason Witten came running at me with malice in his heart, I'd get the &%*# back .

Can't really blame the guard though. He didn't look like he was crowding the field and he seemed to have his back turned to the action. He was just out there doing his job. Wonder why Witten didn't put his arm around him and drag him down on top of him like the cheerleader....

Yeah, that was pretty stupid of him to yell at the guard. He was a good 5-6 yards away from the sideline and had his back to the game because that's his job. Oh well, Witten just had his adrenaline pumping because the game was on the line.

On a related noted, why did Witten arm tackle the cheer leader? He could have just glanced by her, but he intentionally brought her down. Weird.

I think he figured it could've been pretty bad if he ran into the back of her legs. I think he was protecting her from the alternative honestly.

I don't get how the Dolphin was just holding on that far out of bounds though.

The more i watch the play, the stranger it seems to me. Why Witten was so enraged at the one guy when there were multiple people standing over there? What did Ratliff yell at him as he was walking back toward the field?

The whole thing just seems awkward.

I'm sure she got up with shock and covered her mouth because she just got tackled during a cheer. He probably said "sorry" or "are you alright?"

I honestly think he was just using her to break *HIS* fall. Not malicious or anything. Just a split second reaction.

Nah, if you watch the replay they both got up and she was like giggling or whatever, but he clearly said something to her there that she had an extra reaction to. Could have been something simple like "Are you ok?" but it didn't seem like that with that kind of reaction. Probably made a joke or something.

Looks more like Witten thought #50 would have given up on the continued tackle & he would have come to a stop with his arm around the cheerleader BUT #50 kept his legs wrapped up & Witten ended up falling into her & taking her down with him.
