Video: Get up: Moore calling the plays

LOL........offense was the least our problems last year but I'd like to think Mike's hiring will close a lot of gaps. Defense, coaching, special team........problems were real.

Sit back and allow this thing to play out. I mean, we got what we wanted. A new coach. Of course we all knew we weren’t going to get to pick the coach we want it or the scenario but at least we got that.

Exactly...………….and look, maybe Big Mike was told in the interview that he had to keep the wonder kid and maybe it was just a "suggestion" but everybody needs to let in play out before we totally crap on it.

This aint written in stone either guys, if the offense starts to struggle then Big Mike can take back play calling duties.

I agree.

Maybe not every McCarthy decision has been perfect. But I'm still on cloud 9 that Garrett is gone. I will wait and see how this will play out. It will take time. There is no point in getting up in arms over this before a single practice or even a workout.

I'll be more than ready to crap over the end product if it's more of the same. I gave Garrett a long chance and wanted him out when they underperformed. I will do the same with this regime.

To start whining about now is a total waste.

please dont mention the OL. Mahomes dont have one and he is doing fine
lmao really you just made my point..does Kellen Moore have Mahomes? no he has Alex Smith type that Reid traded away to make the team better...

this was about Moores performance and the new staffs reasoning for keeping him and I simply showed the reasons for a lot of 3 and outs NOT on KM..

TY for playing..

Next..

I personally hate it and agree with everything in the video. I cant believe they went this route and Kellen Moore will be used as a buffer between McCarthy and blame if this thing doesn’t work out.

This is why I wanted a big flashy hire and not a guy desperate to get back in the league.

It could have been worse,

We could have ended up with Garrett as the OC like the giants did.

Weeks 1-3 were easy teams, yes, however, Dallas never really looked that good on offense throughout the rest of year unless you count the Rams and Commanders game, which was mostly won by the run game, not passing like the first 3. Again, we will see.

It wasn’t just easy teams, the playcalling was different. We were creating mismatches via motions, which we stopped doing after week 3.

I speculate that we were getting penalties for improper motion settings and that turned Garrett off.

The empty calorie offense.

1 TD in New Orleans.

0 TD in New England

0 TD in Philadelphia with the division on the line.

The offense beat up on bad teams,

Don't see it that way at all. If you pay a guy to do a job, let him do the job.

Moore will call the plays that they've practiced. And McCarthy will be in control of what plays they practice. But if you smell a little closer it does have a Jason Garrett smell to it. If McCarthy fails, Moore might be your next head coach.

You should sign up for anatomy and geology classes.

Then maybe you could distinguish your butt from a hole in the ground...

I guess I’ll never understand some of you

the current regime has a lot of competent coaches and fans just want to criticize them before they have even coached a single game

Right? They're banging on the table for change. Change happens and then they immediately start crying about things.

The offense beat up on bad teams,

Don't forget 15 points against Buffalo. Were non existent in the first half against the Jets and Packers. Had the game not already been over I doubt the Cowboys put up that many points against the Packers.

On calling plays. I saw a clip a few weeks ago with Fran Tarkenton talking to Roger Staubach on some show. Fran was basically talking about how Bradshaw got to call his own plays and asked Roger if it bothered him that he didn't, something to that effect. Roger said of course I would like to call my own plays, I'm like you. But that's not our system and you can't argue with success. Maybe if Grant called your plays you'd have won a SB by now. The look on Fran's face was priceless.
