Get used to this guy becoming Tony's wonderful little safety valve. He earned the right to make the team. As I mentioned last week, it was pretty apparent that he and Tony were developing a pretty good rapport with each other. This guy may not be big but he is very shifty and difficult to find in traffic. Get ready to see Beastley own the middle of the field. I'm not too worried about his size and how it might affect him in the NFL. You have to be able to get a bead on the guy to square up on him and that will be a difficult task for many defenders.

Welcome to the Cowboys Cole! :starspin

If official means an official 53 man roster with his name on it hits the airwaves. No.. However, the people that will be cut to trim to 53 were notified yesterday and he did not receive a visit from the grim reaper. ;)

Given the number change and some tweets from him, it seems likely. Also, there's not really trade bait in that WR position group that would merit holding off on cuts.

This is going to be a really good offense.

Get used to him being inactive on gameday. He's the 5th receiver, and he can't play spectral teams.

Relax. He will see action. Limited? Sure. But he will see some action this year.

If he is Romo's safety valve and only see limited action, we are in trouble. Besides I thought safety valve was Witten's job.

beasly gets open fast, often and catches everything. What a great undrafted rookie find.

"The Turk".

Agree with your postage Bleu. Beasley is an anomoly. Intense athlete. Should be scary good in the red zone.

beasley has a real chance

his change of direction is very very quick

that sort of stuff can keep you from taking big hits because secondary guys are always leery of whiffing on the tackle

if he can stay upright, he has a chance

yeah sure.

if he catches 20 passes this year it would be a miracle

yet he is going to be the safety valve

I have heard of pet cats but really

I feel much better now that we have another Cole Beasely thread.
We had skipped as many as two days and the other 5 WRs combined were starting to catch up.

Those two catches from Tony over the entire preseason lock him in for sure as our next go-to guy.:p:

In all seriousness though, I hope they all contribute for us. I like him, it's just been such overkill around here I have to take a jab at the man...uh, I mean, boy-love.
