Mickey said in his shots that he thought a deal with Capers was very close.

To heck with the League I say. Their fault this Super Bowl is so boring.

Boring?

Lets watch the viewing stats - may set an all time record.

Actually, I think it's as simple as the Super Bowl being the center of attention. The league doesn't like any announcements this week, and they may have even reminded Jerry of that when Campo was brought aboard. I suspect that Dom Capers is hired next week.

If Campo returning to Dallas as an assistant coach is news that can sway the national media away from the Super Bowl (with a team on the verge of perfection), then the NFL is in tremendous trouble.

Jerry and ever owner would know that ahead of time if it were the case

It may still be boring, but I am curious about how many Nielsen households will be counted. With a viewing base made up of New Yorkers and New Englanders, the numbers may be very high--or, at the very least, at kickoff.
