I like both signings. Brookings will be a good stop gap at LB for 1st & 2nd down. He has played his best ball under Wade and still has some mobility left.

Uh, they are both younger than the people they replace (Brooking is 2 years YOUNGER than than Thomas and Kitna is almost 4 years younger than Brad Johnson.) Did I mention that Brookings is WAY BETTER STILL than Burnett and Thomas.

You probably should have gone with better examples... not that there are any. I would have preferred to resign Burnett, but hey, the staff knows what they're doing, they haven't steered us wrong yet.
