I have watched this video for as long as it has been on yt. I am inclined to not believe it, but I do have moments when I think "maybe". Perhaps because I want it to be real. There is plenty of real video footage to support the existence of spirits and paranormal activity, along with countless audio, solid stories from very reputable people.... but this particular one, I'm really not so sure. I have seen a bunch of videos where this exact scenario has been recreated with hair raising accuracy. lol.

There are some very creepy and believable videos out there, though, that I find it impossible to not believe. Of course you have to weed through all the fakes to find them. You can kind of gauge it by how your own spirit and body react when you are watching it.

Do you believe in the paranormal, Achilles? And if so, do you ever watch Ghost Adventures? By far the best and most believable ghost hunting team on tv. Not to mention those three dudes, Zach Bagans, Nick Groff, and Aaron Goodwin, are just a trip and loads of fun to watch. I record every episode and they are very much worth the watch. They have had some astounding and down right scary occurrences. They were really good in years passed, when they were new. Really good, and not afraid of anything. Except Aaron, lol, who is kind of afraid of everything. But he's my favorite one.

I kind of feel the same way. I want to believe it but there is so many fakes out there and they are so good at making them that I don't believe any of them no matter how real they look.
Its going to take Casper floating around my house before I will say that these people aren't full of crap.

Don't know if you've seen this one or not. Judge for yourself. Been going back to this one for years, too. I am inclined to believe this one, because the dog, who is a Rottweiler/Husky mix, is genuinely terrified. These breeds are not built to cower. If the owner was anywhere near that room, causing any of this, that doggie would NOT be afraid, but would be curious, tail wagging, wanting to join in. This dog is alone and frightened.

If you came to my house, you might change your mind. lol. You wouldn't see Casper, but you might see someone else. We all have. The man who built our house and lived in it for 40 years, also died in it. We moved in six months later, when his wife sold it to us. We see her in town, now and then, but we don't dare tell her the things that we have witnessed.

That dog didn't look overly frightened to me. He wasn't reacting at all to blinds moving. I think it is fake. As a side note, I have seen dog owners approach their dogs while wearing a mask or Halloween costume and the dog would be frightened or anxious. The mask would even be put on while the dog was watching and it would still change the dog's reaction. And these dogs would recognize their owners by smell, but still would react strangely to the change in the owners appearance. I

Not sure I could stick around knowing something was lurking around the house. Does it interact with you at all or does it just do its own thing?

I agree with the mask thing. Our dog is the same way, when the kids would put a mask on, he would freak out, bark, run, go back up to them and smell their legs, and just trip out. Total confusion. lol. It's interesting that you don't think the dog in this video was that scared and I thought he was. Different perspectives, I guess. I have always been puzzled by this video, it looks real to me, but you never know. It could be rigged or something. I appreciate your honest input and perspective. It is so fun to analyze the videos that could really go either way, with people who truly give it a look and don't just instantly cast it off because they don't believe in anything. So thanks for that, Joseephuss. You're a cool dude.

You could be right. I just have not seen evidence of it in the videos that are usually used as proof they exist.

I am curious if this has been studied for 100 + years why there is no scientific proof. just conjecture. Maybe one day they will be able to present some kind of results.

Maybe. With more and more cameras and video recorders everywhere perhaps something will get captured. Maybe there is a reason some people can see ghosts, but camera technology can't capture them. I'm more prone to believe someone when they say they have seen a ghost, but have no video proof over the videos I've seen that are purported to be proof.

Ghost Adventurers? Most believable? Did I stumble into the Twilight Zone?

Nothing evil feeling has ever happened to make us want to run screaming in the night, lol. It's no Amityville house! lol. We have questioned if it is interacting or if we are just seeing visions of the past, so to speak. I think they are called loop memories, where the same thing plays out over and over, and sometimes you catch a glimpse of it. An orange ball of light thing has been seen flying through the den on occasion, about the size of a tennis ball. The owners used to have an indoor small dog named Molly, who is buried in our backyard, incidentally, according to the cross over her grave, she was about 12 years old when she died. Could be that we are seeing a partial memory of the owner playing fetch with her. Something does love to go in our younger son's room a lot, that room was the man's office. He did spend a lot of time in there. Our son says he can feel the energy rise and he senses someone standing over him when he is in bed, but he hasn't actually seen anyone there. He also hears knocks and scratches on his bedroom wall. And no matter how many times we close his bedroom door, we will walk back down the hall and it is opened again. The laundry room door has to be opened. If we shut it, the handle will turn and it will open. We have sat here in the kitchen and watched it! The garage door slams (hard) shut if we leave it open, even for a second, and I'm talking when there isn't a lick of wind, either. The shed door loves to open by itself. One time my husband was standing in the backyard, and he said "I really need to mow the grass". And all of a sudden, the shed door, which he was standing in front of, opened wide up, as if the previous owner was saying, "here's the lawn mower, get to work". lol. The old man was a stickler for a fresh cut lawn. He had the shortest grass on the street when he was alive!

We have all seen the shadow figure, my husband being the most recent to see him, and of course the last to believe. I saw a pair of legs walking down the hall one night. You can hear bare feet walking on the tile through the den and kitchen, and rummaging through the drawers. One night it slammed a cabinet door, I admit I did go to bed early that night, got a little rattled on that one. lol. My dog and cats have always freaked out when stuff happens, because they hear it all, too, and they see things that we can not. Heck, they actually alert us to fact that something is there and is about to happen! Dragging sounds in the garage, which he used as a woodshop. Something knocks at us from inside the garage when we are standing outside the wall, as if to say hi or something. I have been chased out of our bedroom before, with like a sighing sound and then a groaning sound, like it sounded impatient that I was getting ready in there too long or something, and then I said, "I swear if I hear one more thing I am out of here", and right on frikking cue, something banged the underside of my vanity, right where I was standing! I flew up outta there! lol! I have been poked in the back, and one time something popped me in the side of the head. I was probably being sassy about something lol.

There's more stuff, too, but this is enough. lol. But like I said, other than being temporarily scared or unnerved at least, most of the stuff that happens is just a thing to us now. Kinda cool, actually. Makes for some great late night ghost story telling. We just sit around and reminisce. lol. We are lucky the old man likes us, cause he could make it a lot worse on us if he wanted to. lol. That is, if it's really him and not just all freaky coincidences and lots of tricks of the ears and eyes.

Lot of data and loose interpretation, otherwise we would know the same that we know there are sub-atomic particles.

One day there will be something concrete enough for those who are more hard headed, lol.;) No really, there are two kinds of people in the world. Those that believe in things and those that don't. I would never get upset with someone because they do not believe in ghosts. I totally understand why someone wouldn't. I might not either if I had not lived it. That being said, I also understand that there could never be any evidence that was concrete or substantial enough to make someone believe when they do not. I would love to see the day when they gather such substantial evidence that it can no longer be denied, or even the other way, that they discover without a doubt that they don't exist at all, and that everyone who thought they had experiences with ghosts, it turns out it was all just wild coincidences and it is all just a bunch of bull. They will be able to sleep better at night. lol.

Ive been to this particular yard more then once and can honestly say it has a creepy vibe. The yard in question does a lot of work for the OCPD so im sure they get in a good number of vehicles involved in fatality accidents. I can remember on one visit there was a little car that was involved in a fatal accident the night before, a shoe was still stuck to the brake pedal..........now that was creepy.
