Ive been to this particular yard more then once and can honestly say it has a creepy vibe. The yard in question does a lot of work for the OCPD so im sure they get in a good number of vehicles involved in fatality accidents. I can remember on one visit there was a little car that was involved in a fatal accident the night before, a shoe was still stuck to the brake pedal..........now that was creepy.

Omg. That's sad, man. That is just so personal, their shoe. Really brings it home, huh? Shocking. It's pretty neat that you have been to this place. Feels creepy for real, huh? Well, heck, maybe the video is real. Unless people faked it to draw attention to the place, with it's history. But just maybe it is ligit. That would be awesome. I will be watching it again and again, again. lol. In the video, the news lady did say that at the time of this occurrence, there were three cars that were in fatal accidents.

You could be right. I just have not seen evidence of it in the videos that are usually used as proof they exist.

I understand. I can't say that I've ever seen Ghosts in a video either. what I can say is that I've experienced it personally and not just a single instance but over a period of several years. I don't really expect anybody to believe me but I'm telling you, they are real.

If you want a second opinion, ask ABQJr. what he thinks about it as well. I'm sure he would give his opinion. He's seen it too.

Just saying.

Nothing evil feeling has ever happened to make us want to run screaming in the night, lol. It's no Amityville house! lol. We have questioned if it is interacting or if we are just seeing visions of the past, so to speak. I think they are called loop memories, where the same thing plays out over and over, and sometimes you catch a glimpse of it. An orange ball of light thing has been seen flying through the den on occasion, about the size of a tennis ball. The owners used to have an indoor small dog named Molly, who is buried in our backyard, incidentally, according to the cross over her grave, she was about 12 years old when she died. Could be that we are seeing a partial memory of the owner playing fetch with her. Something does love to go in our younger son's room a lot, that room was the man's office. He did spend a lot of time in there. Our son says he can feel the energy rise and he senses someone standing over him when he is in bed, but he hasn't actually seen anyone there. He also hears knocks and scratches on his bedroom wall. And no matter how many times we close his bedroom door, we will walk back down the hall and it is opened again. The laundry room door has to be opened. If we shut it, the handle will turn and it will open. We have sat here in the kitchen and watched it! The garage door slams (hard) shut if we leave it open, even for a second, and I'm talking when there isn't a lick of wind, either. The shed door loves to open by itself. One time my husband was standing in the backyard, and he said "I really need to mow the grass". And all of a sudden, the shed door, which he was standing in front of, opened wide up, as if the previous owner was saying, "here's the lawn mower, get to work". lol. The old man was a stickler for a fresh cut lawn. He had the shortest grass on the street when he was alive!

We have all seen the shadow figure, my husband being the most recent to see him, and of course the last to believe. I saw a pair of legs walking down the hall one night. You can hear bare feet walking on the tile through the den and kitchen, and rummaging through the drawers. One night it slammed a cabinet door, I admit I did go to bed early that night, got a little rattled on that one. lol. My dog and cats have always freaked out when stuff happens, because they hear it all, too, and they see things that we can not. Heck, they actually alert us to fact that something is there and is about to happen! Dragging sounds in the garage, which he used as a woodshop. Something knocks at us from inside the garage when we are standing outside the wall, as if to say hi or something. I have been chased out of our bedroom before, with like a sighing sound and then a groaning sound, like it sounded impatient that I was getting ready in there too long or something, and then I said, "I swear if I hear one more thing I am out of here", and right on frikking cue, something banged the underside of my vanity, right where I was standing! I flew up outta there! lol! I have been poked in the back, and one time something popped me in the side of the head. I was probably being sassy about something lol.

There's more stuff, too, but this is enough. lol. But like I said, other than being temporarily scared or unnerved at least, most of the stuff that happens is just a thing to us now. Kinda cool, actually. Makes for some great late night ghost story telling. We just sit around and reminisce. lol. We are lucky the old man likes us, cause he could make it a lot worse on us if he wanted to. lol. That is, if it's really him and not just all freaky coincidences and lots of tricks of the ears and eyes.

Fantastic read with Tubular Bells playing in the background.

Lot of data and loose interpretation, otherwise we would know the same that we know there are sub-atomic particles.

When i was 17, it was only me and my mom in the house, like 3 months after my dad died. One night, my mom and i both were woken up by something sitting down on our beds (her room was 2 floors up), i thought it was my dog at first, until i reached over and didn't feel anything so i turned around and it was just a black shadow standing there next to my bed. Next morning i tell my mom, and she looks at me terrified because the same thing happened to her, and she never believed in ghosts.

We don't do drugs, we aren't drinkers, and have nothing to gain by saying this....but ghosts/spirits are definitely real. Too many other weird stuff has happened in my old house for me not to believe in them. Bowls of food disappearing from the kitchen counter (never to be found again, i was alone for the week-end so nobody else could have moved it/hid it) my dog crying and barking at a corner of the room, that only happens in the basement) Weird things that make me know ghosts exist.

I can see why others wouldn't, i respect that...and the only thing i can say, is the day it happens to you (if it ever does), you will understand why a lot of people, smart, sane people, can believe in ghosts.

I can appreciate that some people "feel" that there is something there. I think a lot of it has to do with how well they are mentally or how stressed or how they are perceiving things with a mindset.

I will say my sister and mother had a similar experience to what you are describing after my father passed away. I not only did not see or pick up on anything they described but I felt that their emotional state was at a point they wanted to believe in what they thought they saw or heard.

I never saw heard experienced one iota of anything out of the ordinary at anytime in my entire life. Maybe something strange will happen to me but I firmly believe that there can be a reasonable explanation for many things. Jumping to the aliens and ghosts and paranormal superstitions lore isn't and shouldn't be the first thing for something we can't explain, sometimes it is only mystery.

Do you believe in the paranormal, Achilles? And if so, do you ever watch Ghost Adventures? By far the best and most believable ghost hunting team on tv. Not to mention those three dudes, Zach Bagans, Nick Groff, and Aaron Goodwin, are just a trip and loads of fun to watch. I record every episode and they are very much worth the watch. They have had some astounding and down right scary occurrences. They were really good in years passed, when they were new. Really good, and not afraid of anything. Except Aaron, lol, who is kind of afraid of everything. But he's my favorite one.
I actually like the show, but it's totally staged.
Goodwin was fired from the series following a rant while being interviewed on a popular podcast. During the interview on the Are We Alone show hosted by Joshua Sweeney, Goodwin went on about an eight minute rant about how the Travel Channel took everything that was authentic and truly paranormal about the show and made a mockery of it by making the crew record its own voices in place of actual EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomena) when filming did not reveal enough evidence to satisfy producers....

“If we film all night long and came back with uneventful material, they actually make us go back, and act out scenes. It’s sickening really,” said an angry Goodwin. “This started off as a real thing, it is just not consistent and active enough for the big-shots at the network, so they basically have turned us into liars. We have been committing a fraud in my eyes and I’ve just about had enough.”

It's not staged. The article was a lie, posted by a trash satirical website, that a few other trash websites picked up on. Aaron wasn't even in America when the bogus interview was supposed to have taken place, he was in Ireland, with the GA crew filming a haunted location for their upcoming Halloween special. In fact, if you go to his facebook page, you will see that he has been posting pics all day of the crew getting ready to go on lockdown at another location tonight. I did find a mention where Aaron refuted these claims back in August on his Twitter page. So did Zak on his page, and he says that the liars are being "legally dealt with".

There is an explanation for everything. Here are some things that come to mind:

Infrasound (very low sound, can't hear it but you feel a sense of dread)
Leaking carbon monoxide (for example a hot water heater could be leaking carbon monoxide and that could be a reason why your seeing stuff or being delusional)
Houses can make noises.. no that doesn't mean theres some creep that only comes out at night trying to scare you

The human mind is a powerful thing. If ghosts were real we would atleast have SOME evidence of them. Same for bigfoot.

If you believe in ghosts science is laughing in your face.

I believe you! I lived in a haunted house when I was small. Nothing harmful but just there.,never bothered me & I actually felt protected in a strange way. Our "ghost" was female.

Please elaborate on what happened. Like, you were taking selfies and a ghost was in one of them?
