From NY Daily News:

Don’t expect to see CB Kevin Dockery (hip) out there this Sunday. He hasn’t even been out at practice the last few days, which likely means the Giants are hiding something – probably the fact that he had a setback in Tampa. He is “sore” according to Tom Coughlin and he’s not expected to practice tomorrow.

Meanwhile, C Shaun O’Hara made it through about half of today’s practice and said he’s feeling better. Asked for a percentage on his chances that he’ll play, O’Hara said “Being an offensive lineman you are used to playing as a limited athlete to begin with, so I don’t really go off percentages.”

The news is not so good with CB Sam Madison (stomach). Coughlin said he “did a little bit of individual time and actually looked pretty good.” However, after his press conference, Coughlin talked with trainer Ronnie Barnes who told him that Madison didn’t even do enough at practice to qualify as “limited”.

Meanwhile, WR Plaxico Burress (ankle) and RT Kareem McKenzie (ankle) were limited. Oh, and TE Kevin Boss, who missed practice with the flu, looked pretty pale, but he said he’ll be fine.

Is this a repost? I didn't see it earlier.

No sir. Last years play off game the Seattle was pulling cb's off the street they were so thin, I ment it in a way that we have been here before. Hopefully though unlike last year we attack the weakness instead of the strength

Not sure that Dockery is all that good anyway. Seems like the light may have come on for Webster.

O'Hara will probably play. But I'm not sure he'll be a better option than a healthy Grey R. A wave of healthy Jay Ratliff and Tank Johnson could give whoever plays center fits.

I think Madison would have the hardest time playing. I would expect us to "assume" he'll be out there. If he is, then I think he'll be targeted.

Sounds like both teams are beat up a bit and have some key injuries. I think we have a bit more health on our side (aside from TO).

Doesn't Coughlin like to manipulate his injury reports? I hope Wade and Garrett DO prepare for Sam Madison. Best bet is that they give him some injection shot and he'll be ready to play.

No clue, this time of year i wouldn't be surprised if they say someone is hurt so we dont prepare for them. I think Bill B. doesn't disclose whats hurt on who or what degree the injury is (unless its an I.R. type)

Man, we have no excuse for not winning this game. We're the healthiest we've been all year and they're hobbled by the injuries mentioned above plus they're missing Shocky, Derrick Ward, Mathias Kiwanuka & Will Demps.

PS..They're damn good at finding running backs, especially considering they traded Ryan Grant

One big difference from last year, though...

We've traded our Big Tuna for a Red Snapper!

Bombs away!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you. We're healthier....and more talented.

But attitude goes a long way in football. Confidence and momentum go a long way too.

The Giants are oozing with momentum. They're hearing all the pundits pick them over the favorite.

Can that carry them past the talent gap between our teams?

Maybe.

Face it.....we've not played well at all lately. We've only looked good in two halves since Thanksgiving. The first half vs GB, and the first half vs Carolina.

I feel our guys are confident. I feel they'll be rested. I feel they're ready. I also feel it's important for our guys to jump out early. I think our guys need to feel success. If we struggle early, there's the danger of the Cowboys thinking, "Oh no, not again." Plus, it will continue to feed the Giants.

Our run D against the Giants, in both games, concerned me-they successfully ran the football(Ward had 89 yards in the first game, and Jacobs had 94 in the second). Now they have some Bradshaw kid(no relation to Terry). IF they're able to do the same and successfully having long drives, we could be in for a dogfight.

I agree.

I've doubted our run-stopping all year. Now, really we did a decent job most of the year. I guess I'm expecting us to dominate. I think our offense scoring a bunch of points, helped our defense to not get run on more.

I thought the Giants could've run the ball more in game 2. It seemed that they weren't as committed to it as they should've been.

I really hope that doesn't mean we make some no name CB like Pete Hunter look like an All Pro this year because we are afraid to throw at him.

Believe me, I'm as nervous as I usually am in each game. I've just stopped expressing my concerns on forums because I get torched if I try to find out why we're struggling.

I've convinced myself that the Eagles game was partially due to Romos thumb which I sure hope is OK. This is the game that concerns me most since the Giants D should be similar to what the Eagles do and they should be better at it since the first of the year when they were just being introduced to it by their new coach. The same can be said of our defense though.

I'm chalking up the closeness of the Carolina game to the loss of TO, otherwise, I really feel our offense would have blown them out.

In the Washington game, I'm a little concerned at how flat our offense looked, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that it was due to TO's absence as well as the multiple players that were missing and the fact that the game had no meaning.

The free passes are over and my expectations are high for this week. I don't even want to think about the uproar that's going to occur around here if we lose...no excuses!

The Eagles game was nothing but an anomaly. Even BEFORE he hurt his thumb, he was still stinking up the joint.

Apart from the fact that we rested many of our starters, the biggest issue in Washington is that we limited the game plan with the idea that we might be facing that team this week in the playoffs. Washington is the very worst game to draw any conclusions from. If you're going to worry, worry about Philly where we left several big plays on the field because our probowl QB couldn't hit open receivers.
