I don't know about 'scared,' but I think that Giant team has been trying to talk themselves into the idea that this is going to be like 2007 all over again. And I today ought to have been a reminder to them that they don't have that 2007 team.

It's also true that this Cowboys squad might be better than our 2007 squad.

There are some Zoners who think they do which is ridiculous. That was 9 years ago. Might as well say we have the 90s Cowboys.

The Giants have a strong team, indicated by their overall record...as far as that is concerned, Washington got hot in December, just last season as well.

I think it'll be a good competitive division game ... I don't expect it to be easy, I do think we'll win, I think the mini-bye came at the right time, Zeke will be better rested and has already been pointed out our secondary is getting healthy at the right time...

Their running game isn't as good as that championship team but ODB, Sheppard and Cruz are a little better than that teams WR core. And Plax, Toomer and Shockey were good.

Go to a Giants board and fans there are saying bench Cruz. They are done with him.

The way you beat NYG is hit Eli. We don't do that very well. And it seems like even though the Gnats always have a crappy OL and no running game, they always run on us. They play the run well on D and get after the passer a bit. It's ra division game in prime time in their place. This game is going to be tough.

Well I hope linehan's got some adjustments because we're going to see the same Blitz packages the Vikings threw at us.

I hope we go back to a more mobile Dak, back to more misdirection, and less of Linehan's old offense which is been rearing its ugly head more and more. The guy was brilliant enough to infuse Daks old offense into his, I hope he keeps it that way because it had defenses totally confused, along with me totally clueless as to what was coming next. As of late I'm starting to be able to call the Running plays and worse than that, what hole there going through.

As far as the Giants being scared they should be.

the first game we dropped two touchdowns and a receiver that couldn't step out of bounds otherwise they were beaten and we're undefeated, we'll take them by 14

Don't think they are scared...
If we give Eli time and have issues sticking with their receivers we could be in for a long night or at the very least it coming down to who has the ball last. As cruddy as they looked today I expect them to bring their A game

You know who else will bring their A game? The team in 1st game that is 3 games ahead.

This team is lightyears ahead from the Boys team in game 1. I'm excited. We get to see our safeties at full strength. Church, BJones, Wilcox, Heath. Physical group. Durant back at lb will help. I think our defense steps up.

Oh, I know. The Dallas Cowboys are a GOOD football team. I just think the idea that the NYFG are afraid and that next week is going to be anything but a dog fight is funny. I hope we win by three touches, but I don't see it.

Be careful with that.
The Giants got red hot in the last few games in the regular season that year.

I remember Eli throwing 4-5 picks against the Vikings in late November.
That caused Coughlin to put Eli on a leash and rely on the defense and the running game.
Eli gained back his confidence during that stretch and they went on to beat us in the playoffs and go to the Bowl and upset the 16-0 Pats.

This Giants team could EASILY do that. The pieces are there.
We have to play our A game and be focused.
18-0 Patriots.

The Cowboys are the better club. Simple. It is a division game against the Giants on the road and in the north so it will be a dog fight. But, l like the Cowboys in this one. The Cowboys have advantages...well rested, motivated, on a roll...better QB..RB...OL. The Giants have played well but not to the level of Dallas. I think the Dallas offenseive line, with 10 days rest, will manhandle the Giant defense and Prescott and friends will outscore Eli and his crew.

Giants d isn't much of a fall back from the Vikings d. And they made us look awful. Don't eat the cheese.

I can't wait. I like the Cowboys in this one. The OL will be out for blood.

Don't expect anything less than the Giant's best in this game. Eli has had quite a few good ones against us. If they stop our run game and/or get consistent pressure on Dak then we will be in for a tussle..

We play our game,,,run the ball and be physical and protect the ball, we will be fine. The Gmen have not been good all year,,playing to the level of bad teams, winning by 2 points or so every week it seems. This game is very winnable.

The bottom line is that their defense was good enough to hold us to 3s instead of 7s in the first game but they are not good enough to do it this game, unless we stop ourselves. I don't care if their D is better or not, because our O is much much better. The Giants D cant stop us unless we stop ourselves. Minny's D didnt stop us, we stopped ourselves.

MInny's D didn't stop us?

I'd say our d is better now too than the week 1 team. With Wilcox, Durant back (for this game), only 1 missing now is Claiborne. Our secondary is the healthiest it has been in awhile.

It won't be at its peak until Mo comes back. He was by far our best player on defense.
