I'm hoping to get the same 'Keystone Kops' version of the Giants that the Steelers saw yesterday, but they have played us tough for several years now. But I'm reading that they came out of the game with not only a loss, but some injuries too.

Jason Pierre-Paul left with a groin injury and is schedule for an MRI today. Him missing the game could be the best thing that's ever happened to Doug Free (and our offense by extension).

And their two other defensive tackles were in and out of the lineup at various points yesterday too.

If the Cowboys can clean up their own mistakes, I like our chances to avenge a game we never should have lost in week one. We were the better team then, and we're the better team now. Let's show it on Sunday Night and win this division!

I agree but the one thing I would love to see is Cowboys getting after Eli and forcing him into making big mistakes as he did vs Pitt.

So would I, but with what we've shown (and haven't shown) from our pass rush, I'm not counting on it. But hopefully, having Demarcus Lawrence out there makes a difference.

The Giants running game isn't there. Their OL is a mess. And their d isn't on the level of that Giant team.
Not only that, the league is onto Eli's sling it up with a prayer and back shoulder throws.

Eli has to be more accurate now.

For some strange reason their O-Line always seems to do well against Dallas. Patch job or otherwise..............

Ditto for their pass rush...

Respect your opponent or you'll be on here after the game whining about how Jason Garrett didn't have this team ready to play after 9 days rest knowing you have work the next day.

Like 2014, I wasn't worried about our offense getting stopped. I was concerned about the defense. Couldn't get pressure on a one-legged QB. I hope that doesn't happen again.

I think we're gonna punch them in the mouth. I expect Dak and especially Zeke to be amped WAY up for this game.

................and they're soooo much better now.

I can't say I am counting on it but what I am hoping to see. Last season Lawrence showed very little until the mid-way mark then came on strong so right now I am holding out a little hope that some of these guys will really step up heading into post season. I always believe guys can improve their game. I hope to see Lawrence step it up but I think for him to do that guys like Collins and Crawford will need to get things going. Both guys have had good games just have not been consistent week in and week out and now is the time the Cowboys will need these guys to raise to the challenge. Again not counting on it but optimistically hopeful. lol

You and me both! I especially need to see more from Tyrone Crawford. He's making way too much money to be a player without a position, and he failed to do much against a 3rd string tackle in the Minnesota game. The team's lack of rush from the LDE spot is their most glaring shortcoming in my opinion.

If we don't get after Eli and he gets hot then we will have a tough time keeping them from scoring. Better hope the usual Eli shows up or we blitz the heck out of them. I'd play a Nickel and Dime much of the game. They do have that one guy who can run the ball well. Tough game.

We brought our A game to the Vikings and they shoved it up our A _ _. So we did escape with a win but remember that their offense sucked. Be careful what you wish for!!
What A game did we bring? We brought our D game pal.

Well I hope linehan's got some adjustments because we're going to see the same Blitz packages the Vikings threw at us.

I hope we go back to a more mobile Dak, back to more misdirection, and less of Linehan's old offense which is been rearing its ugly head more and more. The guy was brilliant enough to infuse Daks old offense into his, I hope he keeps it that way because it had defenses totally confused, along with me totally clueless as to what was coming next. As of late I'm starting to be able to call the Running plays and worse than that, what hole there going through.

As far as the Giants being scared they should be.

the first game we dropped two touchdowns and a receiver that couldn't step out of bounds otherwise they were beaten and we're undefeated, we'll take them by 14

Giants blitzing was one of the reasons they lost yesterday. They were burn't constantly, so I hope they blitz like mad against on us. The middle of the field is wide open in when they blitz and we can expose them. We have to throw more screens to Zeke, not sure why why we don't attempt it at least 4 times a game.

Teams are learning to put their best pass rusher on Frees side, he's good for at least a strip sack a game. Not so much the blitzing by Minnesota

Sunday: Flurries or snow shower possible. Highs near 40. Thats daytime temps.

Not freezing and snow not being a definite? No problems...until they have to remove, like a foot of snow pre-game.

The players will be heated on the sidelines and wearing more cloth on the field. Some gloves will then be seen...and probably a lot of stick'em as well.

Listening to some giants media on their website and they are of the belief that the hardest game left on their schedule was Pittsburgh and they are the best team they will face.

Interesting take.
