Giants board and their classic posts

The Giants suck everywhere except for ODB and they know it. They are coming here to get slauhtered and nothing else.

Blow out by the Cowboys.

The Dallas/NYG games are almost always close. NFC East divisional games usually come down to plays made or not made in the 4th quarter.

Heck, when Jimmy Johnson went 1-15 in 1989... that one win was at RFK Stadium against a super bowl contending Washington Commanders team. You can typically throw out the teams records because these games are always tight.

Having said all of that; I do think the Cowboys are the better team by a good margin, so there is a chance they could win big... but it is just so unlikely against another NFCE team. Dallas has the better offense and has the better defense but special teams could change things quickly, even if both offense and defense are playing well.

A lot can happen in football. Fans need to expect an ugly, hard fought game because that is almost always the case.

We do have some homers here but what we have that the Giants forum doesn't have is a large group of members who always expect the worse and remind us that we are homers. Thank goodness for that too. Hope was just beginning to run rampant through this place.

Its always nice to have a realist *cough* *cough*(pessimist) jump in and tell you your high expectations are junk. Seriously though, not many people on here are blind homers. Most people are fairly grounded. Some a little more optimistic, some a little more pessimistic on the spectrum, but only slightly one way or the other. It's the always pessimistic, very vocal minority of "realists" here that are annoying. It's honestly no way to go through life imo.

They won 8 games by double digit points in a league where the vast majority of games are 1 possession games. They also had several late defensive stops to kill potential game altering drives late in the 4th. The Texans game was the only game that reared it's head in, and they still won. How is that trouble ending games?
