Still not sure where i see overrated. Has nothing to do with homerism.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. Our line is not overrated at all.. it is just homerisim from the Giants fans saying our line is overrated. If they said our line was legit, they would be realists.. instead they say our line is overrate because they love their own team so much they can't admit the truth.

Pretty sure that was his Giants fan showing through. He forgot which 'we' he was talking about for a second, since the Cowboys didn't have any problem finishing games but the Giants clearly did.

8-0 on the road does it for me:starspin:

:flagwave:

Rams - close game against Austin Davis (now looking for a job)
Texans - Went to OT
Washington - Vs. Colt McCoy (backup)
Cardinals - Up by 10 1st quarter
Giants - Vs. an Ailing Giant team
Eagles - Vs. Mark Sanchez (backup)

Wait, 3 of those games vs backup QBs. Don't tell me you weren't frustrated as I was? I am a fan that is about what we've done lately and not about the 90s and beyond. We haven't won a Superbowl since then. The last time I checked that's the best argument to saying your team is the best. See I want to win all those games. They should've been cake. However, I'm a realist and know that anything can happen. A lot of you want to get pumped up for the season, shoot, i do too. A W is a W but I remember watching those games and thinking what's going on? I was happy with the Ws but I feel like we have our best showing vs. the better teams of the league like the Colts, Saints, and Lions.

Hey you can spin whatever I type however you want, send it to the national enquirer magazine in bold letters. It's a new season and I am hoping the best but arrogant, yeah not this guy.

Well they have a QB that plays super conservative against us.

He'll fling the ball into traffic against any other team but not Dallas.

They'll probably be in it for 4 quarters :( but we'll win :)
.

Eli is stone cold in the playoffs/super bowl but average in the regular season. Our defense will put pressure on him all night.

Rams - down by 21? and won.
Texans - WON in overtime
Washington - Romo got hurt.
Cardinals - No Romo
Giants - Down 21 - 10 at halftime, won
Eagles - I assume you mean Thanksgiving. Never really in the game, hardly a hard time finishing. More of a hard time starting.

So even the games you mentioned don't support your statement. Those games were not indicative of a team that has a hard time finishing. In most of them where Romo played we won BY finishing strong, exactly the opposite of what you claim.

OK JD, I should've watched my exact words. Maybe I am thinking about what happened two years ago because that is still fresh in my mind. However, until something happens where backup qbs stop keeping with us and how we keep getting ourselves into situations like coming from under against teams we should be beating from the start, then I can finally believe that we are over the hump. It may take another year of greatness, you know what a superbowl. YES! Then, possibly then, I can say that we are pass that hump. But that 12-4 was last year. We have changes and like I said, I want to dominate these games that are suppose to be won from the start which includes all facets of the game: Defense, Offense, and ST. Then I can say the Cowboys are back to greatness.

Meh, divisional game. The Giants and Cowboys games tend to be high scoring, usually. A 34-31 game would not surprise me at all.

The same as a low scoring game against the Commanders never surprises me.

A Chang's gonna come with this defense.

Goes to show how some posters are fanboys and lack the ability to be objective. It'll be a close game. Dallas will make the plays at the end to win just as they did both times last year.

The New York delusion is ridiculous. You would think this awful Giants team gets two touchdowns for having "New York" in their name.

They think we have the same defense as last year. Because Scandrick is out, our secondary is still one of the worst in the league. Our defense will fall apart. Think that our rookies won't do anything. Gregory, BJones, DWilson. And because Hardy/McClain are suspended, our pash rush won't be effective. They keep believing their OL in preseason was a mirage and that they will get it together. And of course on offense, Romo is the same Romo that chokes every 4th quarter and with no Murray, he will have to throw more meaning picks.

Fanboys of being a close game or fanboys of not being.

I'm just going to stop here. Laugh. Then stop. You missed the whole point. But if I have to defend myself, it's not worth it. Way to see behind the lines smart guy.

No need to defend yourself as your posts aren't worth reading. I've seen a lot of unrealistic predictions so far but that just comes with the territory of being on a COWBOYS message board. Do you really expect to see the opposite? This site has plenty of homers but there's good reason. A 12-4 season that included beating good teams, with a good foundation, building through trenches is plenty good reason to be excited.

Last year is all you can judge the team on so far. Preseason doesn't have any meaning and the starters didn't play much, if at all. If you're going to wait until the season ends to determine whether or not to be excited, then you're what they call a "bandwagon" fan.

dominate everything? go watch the regular season games from the early 90's. its far from a complete domination from game to game. they grinded out their games. if they dominated it was in the 4th quarter. go look at the scores. how many super bowls have the patriots won. i never thought of any of their teams as dominate and it reflects on how close their super wins have been. now in the salary cap era there are no teams that dominate from the first snap till the whistle blows at the end of the game especially in all three phases. i think you are being highly unrealistic.
