How ironic that Martin kicks a game winning field goal for over 40 straight down the middle...

That is somwhat making me feel strange because we haven't seen that for a long time:bang2:

It's funny, watching the Chicago game today I told my fiancee, "I want to see how Romo responds when he's having a game as poorly as this. Does he continue to make mistakes and crumble, or does he put it behind him and make enough plays late to win the game?"

I found my answer today.

You're not going to win every game throwing for 250 yards, a 70-percent completion rate and a 100-plus quarterback rating. It just doesn't happen.

Romo made some key mistakes today. But he battled back for two potential game-winning drives late in the fourth quarter. TWO!

He's a damn good quarterback. I have no idea what today's game will do to his "hype." But frankly, I'm more confident in him right now than I was this morning. Now at least I know how he can respond in these situations.

The thing is that this game was an eery parallel to the Washington game. A tough divisional game on the road.

Romo didn't light up the scoreboard during that game either, and had a somewhat similar game today. He bounced back then, and he bounced back today.

He has shown that he can handle some adversity, and has played well even from behind (Carolina game).

If these are the highs and lows that we can expect from the kid, I think he has a seriously bright future as our QB.

I'm willing to guarantee that Chicago defense would force Romo into some turnovers. It almost goes without saying. They'll do that to anyone...

Pardon? Grossman had 3 picks today. So don't go all George Halas on me and forget that Rex knows how to throw an INT as well.

Difference is that Parcells is gonna load the hammer and from now on have a true tandem with MBIII the featured back and JJ providing some jukes. Dallas would be balanced and Chicago not.
