Believe me RW became my fave player after that one monday night game against the Eagles a couple years ago when he picked off McNabb and ran it back for the TD. But, lately my views have changed. I did notice the late hit on that TD catch. I know that sometimes when teams score a TD there are tackles made in the endzone, but that one yesterday was a little over the limit for me. I am really surprised he didnt get called for it. I mean he knocked that guy to the ground right behind the ref. Im surprised that the CBS people didnt say anything about it. Also, I also think RW is very inconsistent. He does make plays but he lets plays make him too. There was a tackle he made yesterday that i really thought he should have wrapped the guy up. I think it was Moss who caught the pass and Roy just laid into him with his shoulder with his hands to his side. I was really surprised that Moss didnt just shrug off the tackle and go the distance.
With the horse collar thing, just like most people, i think it is hard to change instincts. I dont think he does those things on purpose and i know that he might be trying to change his style, but it really hasnt been working out for him. If he doesnt change soon i can see us with out him for a couple games.
