I think they go with x-rays initially for convenience. Guessing the team's don't generally have an MRI machine at the stadium, and the x-ray allows them to rule some things out right away - or catch some things so you don't send a guy back out with an injury.

It's been a good 'un, ain't it?

Think it was Brock and Salk where they were talking about it. The concern level is high. Fans aren't worried, but I think the team is. I was also surprised they didn't go OL in the draft, but they had no first rounder, really wanted Clarke and Lockett, and after that, they didn't feel there was much left.

Yep - that's it. Also it's perplexing the gave Unger up. What's scary for them is they are discussing this in regards to the starters. If they have any injuries they could be in serious trouble.

Now, the Commanders have lost two tight ends for the season.

Paulson went down.

Attrition in August is brutal. Cooley?

Like I said. Don't revel in another team's injuries
Mara would. It was a city wide celebration when they broke Romo's collar bone.

Collins hurt his knee. He didn't break his neck. He'll be fine. This DOES change week one a bit, which was the point.

Mara managed to get Dallas a cap penalty in an uncapped year. Washington, too. He gets pandered to by the league, which is rife with admitted Giants fans.

Comeuppance.

From what I've heard, Collins will not miss much time.
