Not gonna happen. Eli was a severe disappointment last year even though he had Tiki behind him, who was the sole reason for New York having the 7th best Running Game in the NFL in 2006. Who's going to take the heat off of Eli this year? Brandon Jacobs? Reuben Droughns?Bizwah;1585167 said:But there is talent on that team....especially at WR and TE. If Manning can avoid spazzing out, then the Giants will be tough to beat.

I'll grant you that there were major problems in the Giants' lockerroom last year but, in terms of fault, Tiki's part in it was minimal. The major culprit of the continued team hostility that exists for New York is still there and he goes by the name of Coughlin. It's not unusual for some players to dislike their coach. What is unusual is when a healthy portion of the players hate their coach with such a passion that they dub him "Mein Fuhrer," as many Giants' player reportedly did last year. As long as Coughlin's dictatorship is still running the show, all the discontent in that lockerroom isn't going away.TunaFan33;1585346 said:If anything-Tiki also wrecked their locker room down the stretch(even more so than TO did in Philly/SF). Their injuries, as significant as they were, had nothing to do with some of these losses(i.e. TN, Philly, New Orleans, and yes Us).
I was also amazed by Tiki's lack of effort in some of those games. In the 2nd Philly/New Orleans games, he gave some half*** blocking on blitzes that stalled some good looking drives.
Frankly-it wouldn't surprise me at all if by wk 4 of the season, the national media will be running stories how "The Giants finally have a peaceful locker room".
