If we're trying to get better, why keep the same guys?

Right. As I said in the OP, I’m not suggesting having a complete roster turnover.

I am saying how about bringing in some new, tough, playoff tested players who know what it takes to take it to the next level. We have won 2 wild card games the last decade. What’s wrong with some new blood?
But except for this past season, Dallas has been building up playoff experience in it's players.

Don't kid yourself.......Quinn turned that roster upside down with moves....was reading just today only 15 guys survived from the original 2023 53 man roster.
Without Daniels they aren't in the playoffs.
The defense was13th in yds allowed and 18th in points given up. Nothing special! They didn't have a RB rush for 1000yds. Daniels was the leading rusher with 891 yds. One #1 WR and a bunch of #3s. Quinn is going to be riding Daniels shirt tail for a long time.

The Dallas Cowboys - including current free agents - have as a team collectively won 2 wild card playoff games in the last 7 seasons. Yes they have made the playoffs 4 of those 7 years, but is this a mix of players we just can’t afford to lose? Sure some of them are worth keeping, but don’t we need some new blood, new leadership, a new drive to take it to the next level?
  • Serious Question: If we are trying to get better as a team, be more competitive in the playoffs, and transform this soft culture into a tough playoff tested team, why are we so committed as an organization to keeping the same guys?
  • It would be understandable if we had won more playoff games with these guys. We want to “run it back” with the same guys as if all we need is another chance?
I would like to see some cap space dedicated to some new players who have been on teams that have won lots of playoff games.

I’m not saying it has to be a complete roster turnover, but can we just not continue with the “we like our guys” mantra that has dealt us two wild card wins in 7 years? If we are going to get some valuable cap space, I would like to see some new blood brought in.

Otherwise are we not just doing the same things and expecting different results?
IF!!!!! you already know that IF is a "looser"(jerrah) word
