3 year deal worth 8 million, not a bad price. With what they already have in new york (giants) he might fit in good.

Not a bad move.

Not sure how I feel about this one. He could add something or not. We'll see.

Can supply some inside pass rush... about worthless vs the run.

I assume he'll just be playing on passing downs.

yeah but compared to there DT's last year. This is a upgrade. He can still get to the qb.

I hope we get a guard in FA or draft or one of the young ones step up because Macky B sucks at guard. He needs to be moved to center (like gurode). We need to get out of FA and Draft with atleast on starting caliber guard.

.......most ANY right thinking fan knows this is a solid move. Guys will come on here and trash him and the giants but....he can still really play and they have their cap in order to sign guys like this. We don't for all the myriad of reasons we discuss on here: JJ doesn't get it and never will. The interior line on BOTH sides of the ball is critically important.

Thats a good signing for them.
Based on your Romo bashing quote that you carry non-stop, don't you think you lose the right to make any educated comment regarding interior line play on either side of the ball.

Sorry, but's it's clear you don't have an appreciation for the value of it. Not trying to be a jerk here, but you carrying that misinformed sig....it's tiring and short-sighted, imo.

giants are getting back to winning the game at the line of scrimmage. I was watching espn and heard tom c. say that. They are looking to upgrade both lines.
cowboys need to take the big uglies at the line of scrimmage more seriously.Too much flash in our strategy.

He would need to play much better than he did the past year for this to be a good move. He's been injured regularly and has done little since leaving GB.

It's a relatively cheap gamble, but our team needs to focus on youth, so I would not like it for us.

I'm sorry but he played in all 32 games in the past 2 seasons, and 59 of the past 64 games. I don't know where you're getting "injured regularly."

He did put up 9.5 sacks in the past 2 seasons playing in the middle of the Eagles wide 9 scheme.

This is not a bad signing at all considering how weak they were up the middle.

His former team in GB is in great need at the position and had no interest.......what does that say about CJ?

9.5 sacks for Jenkins over the past two years. He'll cost the Giants $2.6m for 2013.

2.0 sacks for Ratliff over the past twoyears. Ratliff will cost the Cowboys, what, $7m in 2013?

In terms of value, hard to argue against the move.

How did they sign a free agent already?

He was cut by the Eagles so he was a "street" free agent and available to be signed by anyone at anytime.

I recognize his name, for whatever that's worth. Don't have a clear sense how he played last year or how he projects to the NYFG. I imagine this is them addressing the loss of Canty in particular and Osi next week, right? Giants are having to make some tough choices of their own. The fact that they jobbed both us and the Sk*ns is turning out to be convenient for them this off-season.
