As for his replacement. The leadership role definitely will be hurt here as he put people in the right place a lot of the time. What will be an improvement is the athleticism of whoever replaces him. It may be Goff who is very athletic. Just not sure how he will handle the rest of his responsibility.

Sadly I've seen too much of that type of thought process on these boards in the last year. It's the one thing I'm truly unhappy about with these forums is that there are so many Cowboys fans here who could easily be passed off as Eagles fans with their lack of class when it comes to injuries to other players.


Hopefully he recovers fully and in quick fashion. I hate to see any player get injuried, let alone seriously injured.

Never happy when a player goes down with a season ending injury. It's bad karma to be joyous about another teams injuries. The less high quality players the G-men have the better for us. Rather beat your guys at full strength solely for bragging rights, but will take any win.

Pierce was "shocked" by the news. He practiced in full Friday, but felt discomfort afterwards and was hospitalized for tests. An MRI revealed the injury, which may threaten Pierce's season.
