NYG, Mara, and Opie are by far my most hated franchise so needless to say I was very happy to see this.

Pugh is well on his way to a bust and they had hoped to move him inside to guard to hide him. Looks like he is going to set the edge after all:

New York Giants left tackle Will Beatty tore his pectoral muscle lifting weights during the team's offseason conditioning program Wednesday and will have surgery to repair the injury, multiple sources confirmed.

Beatty's recovery is estimated at five to six months, which means he's likely to miss at least the first half of the 2015 season.

he is not young so you can probably add a month to that. You have to be real careful or you can tear it again. For all intents and purposes he is out for the year.

Hate to see it but truthfully that is a big hit to their OL. Looks like the rook will now start at LT and Pugh will be forced to stay at RT. Gregory vs thier 1st rnd pik...Put Eli on his BUTT multiple times Pls...

I never rejoice in injury for players.

Probably because injury is the one thing I can see derailing a special season for our Cowboys.

I'm not cheering the injury. I'm cheering the effect it has on their Oline. I'd prefer that he decides he'd rather not play for that blight of a franchise and retire or demand a trade but I will take it however I can get it.

And offensive line was their shortcoming already.

I hate football injuries, but we all take a little glee in theirs because their fans take so much in ours.

I also find it interesting dichotomy that people cheer S going headhunting and extremely physical violent play but draw the line when someone gets hurt. It's a survival league.

Pugh should have always been at OG. Cowboys had him rated high there also. But he is below average at RT.

They waste no time jumping for joy at our injuries. So I have no problem saying that whatever weakens their team makes me happy.

Word is, Dallas wanted Pugh, and when the Giants took him, Dallas traded back and "settled" for Frederick.

I love when players get hurt, I just hate it when they get injured.

It's not much of a dichotomy. In jiu jitsu I'd roll with my friends, and I want to hurt them to the point that they'd submit. But I'd never want to injure them. And they'd do the same to me.

So Ereck Flowers will get another shot at Gregory. Can't say I'm unhappy about Flowers protecting Eli's smart side, trying to stop our pass rush even if Hardy misses both games.

As a result of the recent news of Beatty's season ending injury Ian Rapoport is currently reporting that the clandestine Giants fan known as "PoundTheRock", draped in an Eli Manning jersey, is on the ledge of a tall building fighting back tears and screaming Tony Romo related obscenities.

While I prefer the notion of karma over most other religions ideas of justice, I put no stock whatsoever into it.

Agreed.

They lost a player to injury. Good.

If it was Romo they would be rejoicing with their fans.

Too fudgin bad.
If it happens to us then we have to deal with it.

Is he? I thought the consensus was that he was a decent RT but would have a chance to be special at guard

Yeah and I was not happy that we had him rated highly, short arms + no strength is not a quality in an OL that I generally like. He was better his rookie yr than last year, hopefully this has a major impact on their protection of Eli because he is long overdue a mashing by the Cowboys D.
