Giants Play on Turkey Day

I am not trying to be a jerk, but we played green bay in 07 on the thursday after thanksgiving and they had just played at detroit on turkey day.

Should be interesting going to ny in two weeks. That is the restart of the season.

If I remember correctly, those were back to back Thursday night games.

At least they are traveling west 2 time zones and have the late game. It could be worse.

Living In NY my giants fans friends have complained all week about this but as i pointed out to them let's take a closer look at the schedule for a second:

Since the week 7 game on Oct 25th vs arizona this week will be only their 2nd road game the other was around the corner in philthy.
So that breaks down week 9 home vs chargers, week 10 BYE , week 11 home vs atlanta, week 12 @ denver , then week 13 and 14 are both HOME vs us and the e-girls! there 1 week off of there bye and they are in the middle of 4 home games in 5 games and there whining? this will be the first time they had to step on a plane since the saints game on oct 18th and there complaining? come on stop it .

Also this is the furthest west they will even have to go all season (similar to Pitt last year, a little shot yup hard sched but all tough games out of division were home on that stuff they call grass) so please cut the crap .

Man, I wish Witten hadn't drop kicked that freak Int or any number of crazy things hadn't happened on our home opener.


Not only does NY have to travel during a short week, the traveling element of the home field advantage that they have against us the following week is neutralized by the extra time off that we have.
