Too early to tell or know how the division will end up. I think NYG, Phil, and Dal are going to be in contention for the top spot.

Just another example of NFL teams slowly adopting a zero crap philosophy. Good for the Giants.

continuely make us there female dog in December and they went to the NFC championship game last season.
Yeah that was last year. They had some significant subtractions this offseason. They still may beat us in December but that doesn't guarantee they will finish ahead of us.

Giants -plax is still better than us....
I guess you didn't see the Giants -plax. Not good. They will need some receiver help.

It's my honest opinion. I wasn't whining, van wilder

Sorry. I use the term "whine" as a collective description for the majority of the posters on this forum for the last four months. It's not intended to insult. ;)

....but I don't buy into Philly being any better than anyone else in the division this offseason. The NFC east hasn't been predicted accurately over the offseason in years. If we're the underdog this year, we'll likely win the division.

I think they make a big push for Boldin or Edwards.

Given Stallworth's problems, you'd think that Cleveland maybe keeps Edwards.

Gmen became really one dimensional when Plax was gone. All the focus was to bumrush the middle and make Jacobs run sideline to sideline. He is a subpar runner if he isn't running between the tackles.

well i'm hoping with the losses on the eagles o-line and the heart of that defense gone that we will be the #1 team in the NFC Beat again.

NEW YORK (AP) - The New York Giants have released wide receiver Plaxico Burress, the team announced Friday.

"I am an optimist, and I believe most situations can be worked out," general manager Jerry Reese said in a release posted on the team's Web site. "We hung in there as long as we could in hopes that there could be a resolution to this situation other than the decision we made today to release Plaxico. It wasn't to be, so now we have to move on."

Is Roy Williams the best receiver in this division?

Actually, a completely healthy and motivated R Williams is the best WR in our division, IMO.

I feel sorry for Plax (or anyone that is an otherwise law-abiding citizen) that he did not have better judgment than to take the kind of action he did to end up in jail over this. I really do.

No one who is thinking clearly, and truly comprehending potential consequences, would ever put themselves in a situation where they would give up their law-abiding million $ lifestyle for jail time.

There was no desperation, no escape from tragedy, no upside!

Only downside. I would venture to say that for him it probably feels very unjust. What a hard lesson. I hope for his sake that it is not a long sentence and that he wises up immediately.

It's kind of funny how things turn out . . . . Suddenly, R Williams, Austin, Crayton, Witten, and Bennett look like a more formidable group in our Division. And I'm sure we'll add one more guy in the Draft.

Plus, I wouldn't swap our stable of RBs for anyone else in the Division.
