Rivers comes through when it matters and is playing on basically 1 leg.

Rivers is a whiney girl. Its not that hard when you've been handing the ball to LT/Sproles and Gates is your security blanket. Norv is a very QB friendly coach, and Rivers doesn't do anything that Romo can't. Romo can do things that Rivers can't however, like move around in pocket - and not cry like a girl all the time.

He also has a stingy defense and is in a garbage division.

I hadn't heard Simpson referred to as "Yoko Romo" before. I thought it was funny.

The article was probably just an excuse to use "Yoko Romo" in a story.

Agreed. ...mediots

I have a hard time believing that his relationship is the cause for his issues as a QB. I like Romo. I like him as a person and I like his *abilities* as a QB. When he's on, which is quite often, he's a top 3 QB in the league. But, we have a serious issue here if he does not focus on protecting the football. I don't think it's necessary for him to be traveling back and forth to LA as much as he seems to do. But the issue still lies in turnovers.

I really wish Romo makes the critics (myself included) eat their words. The best way to end this jinx stuff is to prove them wrong.

How very true!, and please from a earlier post, Rivers over Romo?, C'mon dude!.

I was one of the posters that said rivers > Romo. The chargers including Lt were the biggest Piece of trash I've seen. The only bright spot was rivers. Yes Rivers stayed focused and determined. More then I can say for Romo.

No but it should be easier to win with T.O, Roy Williams, JAson Witten, 13 pro bowlers, the golden child in garret the master in the 3-4 in Wade and all those talented players on D.

WAit a sec!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Throw in the towel and raise the white flag. Romo has TONS of so called weapons and this is all we get? One and out, One and out and missing the playoffs? Not even making it competive against the Eagles? We got mopped like a dirty floor.

I'm Cool with your opinion, however I think Romo is better and at least Brees's equal.

Tom Brady vs. Peyton Manning...

The better regular season QB is debateable. But there is no question that Brady is superior in the postseason.

The Patriots are 14-3 in the playoffs under Brady. 26 TDs vs. 12 INTs, 88.0 QB rating.

The Colts are 7-8 in the playoffs under Manning. 22 TDs vs. 17 INTs, 85.0 QB rating.

If I need a QB to win one game for me, it depends on what else I have on my team. If I have a solid defense and I need a QB to be accurate and make smart decisions, I'm going with Brady every single time. He's also better than Manning is under pressure.

But if I don't have a defense and I know I'll need to score 35+ to win, I'm going with Manning. He's done it longer and puts up blistering numbers year in and year out.

Overall, I'd give the slight edge to Brady. Three Super Bowl wins, that ridiculous 2007 season (which outshined Manning's ridiculous 2004 season), and twice as many playoff victories as Peyton... give Brady the nod.

All this Yoko Romo stuff is clearly being talked abt MORE by Cowboys-haters than the fans!! Most of us are RATIONAL and very respectful towards Romo's relationship. He is our QB and we will root for him and the team all the way!

last time I checked, there's a lot more to an offense than just a QB and a couple good recievers.

Roy Williams was still learning the play book and timing, Witten was fighting injuries, our OLine sucked, Barber was injured, Felix Jones was injured...

but yeah, let's blame it all on Romo!

Romo's detractors will look pretty stupid in a few months. Their spin control ought to be fun to read though.

am i the only one who really couldn't care less about who romo is sleeping with? have never understood the logic that he fumbles the ball because he slept with a singer the night before. basically he sleeps with a girl working behind the counter in kfc he throws a game winning touchdown, he sleeps with jessica he gets sacked and drops the ball? is that right?

in the valley of those with vision deficits the person with one good eye is no better or worse than anyone else but should feel the urge to use his vision (which is neither an advantage or disadvantage) for the general betterment of the group.

Brady and Manning are both in elite, first ballot HOF class. Its not in stone, and its not the gospel - it isn't universally accepted amongst football insiders that Manning is better than Brady.

Every year at the Patriots facility, they give a parking spot to the hardest worker. Brady has won that every single year. He is IMHO, the best QB in football - statistically, 3 rings, and a 50 TD season when he almost went 19-0 . I hate the Patriots with the passion of a thousand wolverines, but I know when to admit when I see greatness.
