Giant's TD with 33 seconds left

Nobody is talking about the coaching mistake on the Giant's last TD before overtime. From midfield, with 33 seconds left and no timeout, you have to protect two things: the sideline and the end zone. We had both lbs in a base defense covering the back and the tight end coming out for short passes. You pull the lbs, bring in two more dbs and let them catch everything short to intermediate and tackle them inbounds. You don't give them anything to the sideline (remember Aaron Rodgers and 3rd and 27?). You most certainly don't let a receiver get over the top of you and into the end zone.
