Toney has ridiculous talent and athleticism but the hype for a guy who has had one good game in his career is pretty insane.

I hate to say it but I would have traded a 3rd for Toney. We need speed at the wideout position. Cowboys front office think they can sit and watch their way into right in the Superbowl will end up with a rude awakening.

We will never reach the Superbowl with knuckleheads like Jerry and Stephen aka Capboy.

The reason for that was his $20 mil per year cap hit. Teams aren’t going to give up much if they have to take on a contract like that. It’s a numbers game.

Still ridiculous deal and looking worse by the day. Instead of dumping him for what they got in return, they should have just kept him for another season. Such a deal could have been made at any time.

By getting rid of his contract this year, it allows the team to roll over salary cap savings to next year. We’re going to need that cap room to resign some of our defensive stars.

I know the Giants wouldn't have traded him here without it being a lopsided deal but I would have been interested in this.

He’s definitely an upside/bargain type of a deal. Two and a half years at a minimal salary, adding him to an already-potent offense. Unlike Dallas, Reid and the Chiefs DO see the value in having speed on the field. It’s key to make opposing defenses cover as much of the field as possible.

A lot to pay for a former 1st round WR that has not shown anything since his 2021 season (and not much then either).

Then again, Dallas used a 3rd round pick on Nahshon Wright…

I just read a draft scouting report on him and the Chiefs were listed as one of the ‘great fits’. I trust Reid to work him in, as long as his attitude isn’t terrible.

Kadavourus was bout as useful as a **** flavored lollipop during his tenure as a Giant. Glad to have unloaded him for a 3rd and 6th rd pick. Now we have to add a #2 to that and get Juedy from Denver.
