Whenever I watch a game that doesn’t include my team, I always pick a team to root for. Usually it’s the underdog. I’m having a hard time deciding who I should root for in this game. I can’t stand either team, so I’m trying to determine what outcome would benefit the Cowboys most. I think either the Cowboys or Eagles will win the division, but either way I think the Cowboys end up with a better record than the Giants. So for me, I think it comes down to playoff seeding, and any loss for the 49ers could result in one or more home games for the Cowboys. So for that reason I’ve gotta go with the Giants.
What do you say?
If the Giants win and we win, that will put the crosshairs right on the Cowboys....could be a good thing or it could go the players heads.
If the 49ers win, it will keep some of the pressure off.
All that said, I'll root for the Giants, since we already beat them.

There is no rooting in this game. It's not that type of game. Like watching a fight between a lion and a lamb. You don't root. You watch out of morbid curiosity.

What? I'm not rooting for either one. If the Gnats win, with a chance of zilch, that would be ok. I only root for the Boyz who will have to handle business with SF and put them in their place. Remember the early 90's? Get it done!

Giants. Can you imagine the meltdown the nation would have if the team we gave the worst beating in history to just happens to beat the 1 team the everyone is hoping ruins our plans for Lombardi #6

If the Giants get trounced again this early in the season, it will likely make them much easier to beat, as their belief in their chances for this season would likely take such a hit they could not recover.
So you root for the 49'ers.

It's tough to root for either one. The Niners are the better team who will be fighting for home field down the stretch while the Giants just don't look very good, so I have to root for the upset here.

That's an easy one. Giants are only a recent pit stain. The Romo years and Eli Manning's G-Men. We were a sad team in the late 80's when Giants were at their Parcells/LT peak. They were living off of past glory fumes by the time the 90's dynasty came rolling around. And lately they have been our whipping boy. It's the 49ers who have always been the pain in our backside. From The Catch... to the 94 Championship.... to the "Thank god Green Bay beat them" in 95... to the TO Star game.... to the Recent 21st century Playoff embarrassments.
