You have a lot more faith in the Giants than I do. I can see them losing to the Eagles, to Dallas, to the Saints AND the Patriots.

Still think the Eagles will be the main competition for the East title, if Dallas is still in the race when Romo returns. Primarily because of their defensive front. I don't think they are any better than they were last year, but they did finish 10-6.

Their schedule is easier than ours.

Not really.

They have to go to New Orleans, host New England, host Dallas with Gregory back and maybe Dez, play Philadelphia twice, and play the Skins in DC.

All those are potential losses.

The Cowboys only play one team which is the Giants with a winning record until Thanksgiving.

The Giants are not that good. I doubt that they will end up better than 9-7. We do not have to go 3-1 to finish better than that, and should not expect a backup QB-led team to be able to do that. If we win three of the next five, we have a very good shot of winning the division when Romo returns. If we win two of the next five, we probably have no margin for error.

Giants are now 3-2

@ Eagles
vs Cowboys
@ Saints
@ Bucs
vs Patriots - I see 2, maybe even 3 wins in their next 5 games...

@ Commanders
vs Jets
@ Dolphins
vs Panthers
@ Vikings
vs Eagles - I see at least 4 wins for the Giants in their last 6 games... So I've got the Giants finishing with a minimum of 9 wins, with as many as 11 wins being possible...

In my opinion, the Commanders are the biggest obstacle in the division. They are a much better team with Cousins at QB and they play the softest schedule.

huh???? their schedule is only different by 2 games. We play the NFC South and AFC East there are only two opponents different from that point on, IIRC last place NFC North and NFC West teams the Bears and Rams.

Hopefully Philly blows NY's doors off and NY suffers a key injury or 4. Sorry, we need that NY game desperately.

I see a minimum of 9 wins. Possibly the same record as 2013 for them at 7-9.

I see losses at Philadelphia, vs Dallas, vs New England, @ Minnesota, @ Washington, and vs the Jets. They finish 8-8.

Bucs look like the most winnable game on that list for us. Hopefully we can sneak by the Giants/and or the Eagles.

With the news coming out of New York recently and seeing the injuries they had Sunday Night, the Philly game is not looking to good for the giants.

Eleven wins are possible and if the Giants do it more power to them. They win the East and make the playoffs.

I don't think 11 wins are probable for that team, though. It's like people around here believe they are actually good. Every game on their schedule is either a toss-up or they are likely to lose.

These are the remaining games until Romo is back. I believe the Cowboys have to win 3 out 4 games to keep our playoff hopes alive, as I can easily see the giants winning 3 out of their next 5 games. The Giants remaining schedule also isnt as bad as ours.

Giants schedule (3-2):
@Eagles, Cowboys, @Saints, @ Bucs, Patriots

Cowboys schedule (2-3):
BYE, @Giants, Seahawks, Eagles, @Bucs

Dallas has to win all division games. That is the key to winning the NFC EAST.

I have to disagree. I would say they are more likely to lose 4 of their final six, and all 6 could easily be losses. They are not a good team.

Road games against the Commanders, Dolphins, and Vikings... Home games against the Jets, Panthers, and Eagles... Even if the Giants aren't a "good" team by your standards, show me the "good" teams that they'll be facing in those final 6 games... I would argue that the Giants are still better than most of those teams...

Eli is a better QB than any of those other teams have, Beckham is a more dynamic WR than any of those other teams have, and I don't care what anybody says, Tom Coughlin is a pretty darn good coach.

I truly hope you're right though...

What's up, Cooter?

I don't see any need for taking any of the NFC East games for granted. I think that this returned group of Cowboys, is fully up to sweeping the whole group.

I would say the Vikings, Jets, and Panthers are all better teams than the Giants and would pick them to lose those 3. And I would expect they lose one against the Commanders, Dolphins, and Eagles, which I would say are all probably near even with them. The Giants at full strength are a team that could lose very easily to any team on their schedule. I don't see the Giants going better than 8-8.
