Giants Vs Eagles *** Game Thread***

can anyone explain why we're rooting for the eagles instead of the giants?

If we lose to the Eagles next week, it gives us more chances to win the division. Giants will probably lose next week to New Orleans anyway.

Besides, if we get the #3 seed, I don't want to play the Giants in the first round of the playoffs if they're #6.

The hope is to make New York a 6th seed, have them beat New orleans and then take care of business ourselves on Christmas Day.

If we end up with the same record as the Giants, they'll be seeded higher than us. So if they lose today, all we have to do is win one more to finish with a better record than them. They might lose to the Saints or Skins anyway, but I don't want to count on that.

If the Eagles win, all we have to do is beat them next week to win the division. And even if we lose, we can still win the division if we beat Detroit and they lose to Atlanta.
