Gibbs Gets Another One Up On Parcells

I really dont give a FF about excuses for why the Skins won. Fact is they WON and they still have a chance at goin to the Super Bowl. You know maybe if the Commanders didnt get 35 points against us we woulda won.

Whatever. They won and they get to play in at least one more game. As many excuses as you make for why they won I would give anything for us to have won a playoff game today like they did.

A win is a win and there is no such thing as a bad win.

Somebody has Skins Love ;)

:laugh2: Maybe a little Gibbs love ;) cuz I am kinda jealous of how he has done more in less time. I know one thing for sure. Gibbs never woulda kept a moron like Mike Zimmer around.

Your Zimmer hate is funny, he is one of the better DC's in the NFL and most NFL people know that, even if some morons in the fan base may not

Washington isnt in a better position than we are by any means. Their QB is older and has less left than Bledsoe. Their defense is alot older than ours.

Gibbs is a whiney bish who complains about reffing every game until he gets all the calls THAT COUNT in his favor.

Everyone thinks that Gibbs is doing such a fantastic job. There is another coach on the team named GW who has a lot to do with his success.

Yeah he is so good that only 1 team is just somewhat interested in him as a HC. Sean Payton has more teams interested in him and our offense was horrible this year.

Yeah Zimmer is one of the better DCs. Better at makin good players just average and one of the better DCs at givin QBs all day to throw the ball. If Ware had about any other DC then Mike Zimmer then Ware has 12 sacks easy and wins DROY.

They have two QB's with huge potential and their defense avg's 27.4 years of age per player and ours avg's 27.6

Those numbers do include Singelton and Dat

I understand your emotions but overstating a bit???;)

They also are getting old..have less young talent than we do..and are in cap hel again this offseason..the Skins mojo runs out in Seattle IMO!!

All that proves is Gibbs does a better job of gettin his old players ready and prepared for a game then Parcells does with his old players.

We are about to get much younger even..Dat..Al..possibly Gregg and Glover..may be gone..so I like our chances!!

Patrick Ramsey has the potential of a blind squirrel

Jason Campbell was a 3rd round talent that was picked in the first round. If you ever watched him at Auburn, he is clearly not going to be a great NFL QB.

And Washington's best defensive player will leave after this season. Shawn Springs doesnt have much left. All of our best defensive players, RW, Newman, Henry, Ware, etc. will be here for a long time to come. The only big time player on our D that wont be here much longer is Glover.

Washington may overall be younger on D, but not where it counts.

You ever think that maybe Ware isn't good/smart enough yet to do anything but an outside rush? Maybe we got all out of Ware we could, for God's sake he was a stand up defensive end rushing in about 95% of the time. Do you really think if Parcells thought they should have used Ware any differently that it wouldn't have happened?

Depends what your rooting for because I don't Glover leaving as a positive. lol

I agree, I like our young playmakers on defense and Washington does not have that.

Mike Zimmer excuse # 7957430927511301320497109743091

Nothing is ever Zimmers fault. It is always he never has any talent to work with or some other excuse. If someone would write a book on excuses made for Mike Zimmer it would be bigger then a dictionary.

These excuses are old and mean nothing. Maybe some new Zimmer excuses like he woke up at 9 in the morning instead of 8:57 would be a good one to use. I dont think anyone has used that one yet for him.

I am still glad Parcells is here in Dallas. It would be hard to find a better coach right now. But.....

....last year the Commanders looked like a ok team. This year they are getting better and better. In his 2nd year Gibbs has already won a playoff game with his Skins. In Parcells 3 years here he has yet to win just 1 playoff game with this team. Next year as much as I hate it I know the Skins will be good and probaly even better.

I am not sure what it is but Gibbs team just comes out lookin more ready to play and more prepared then Parcells team. Gibbs is just a better coach.

Take this crap to ES.....

I am not rooting for Glover to be gone simply raising the possibility with regard to the youth question!!

It's obviously paying off for us.

People can deny it all they want, but Washington has a chance this year. The only hindrance is they're on the road every game. But they are one of the hottest teams right now and have already beaten Seattle, Chicago and the Giants the last time they met.

But the bottomline is they have turned it around and next year I don't see them starting out with 6 losses in their first 11 games. They'll probably be one of the top teams in the conference. I know we're improving, but we are old at QB and both starting WR's. I see us in the hunt for the wildcard while Washington will be vying for homefield.
Odds are next season will probably be BP's last, and we're stil looking for our first playoff win since '96.
