I was looking at the Raiders site and it's transactions, and they have Gibril Wilson released. What is Al thinking?? I don't even want to know what the cap hit is for doing that. They just signed him to a 40 million dollar contract last year.

What do you guys think?? He's pretty legit. I don't know why Al cut him..it can't be for his play. I'm pretty sure I heard he say he wanted to be released, but I can't believe they actually granted his wish.

No they can't...it costs 14 mil to cut him..and he's making 12 million next year. It wouldn't surprise me though from Big Al.

I was never a big fan of his when he was on the Giants and thought the Raiders were nuts last year (I know that is redundant), but given what is on our roster now this beats the heck out of moving Henry and shifting Hamlin.

Ya I always thought he was a good football player when he was in New York. The only thing that worries me about him is his coverage skills. I've read some Raider blogs and they all seem to like the guy and hate the move. Its worth a look....

That could be the understatement of the year. Any way it should be interesting to see what the sports radio show out here say about this especially there flagship station that I sometimes listen to on my way home from work. If there is anything interesting, I will try to let everyone know.
