theogt;2646945 said:Uh...no. He's not "pretty legit." He's terrible and the Raiders were universally panned for signing him to that deal. Now they saw first hand that he's complete crap.

What do you guys think?? He's pretty legit. I don't know why Al cut him..it can't be for his play. I'm pretty sure I heard he say he wanted to be released, but I can't believe they actually granted his wish.

No, he's terrible. He was terrible on the Giants and he was terrible for the Raiders. The Giants let him go because their secondary was crap with him and the Raiders cut him. Seriously, it doesn't get much worse at the safety position.SLATEmosphere;2646950 said:Complete crap??:laugh2:
He's no hall of famer, but he's no slouch either. He had a terrible defense around him and played acceptional in New York..He had 129 tackles last year with them..he's not crap.

you just say the funniest things all the time. Gibril Wilson is better than anybody we have at strong safety. I live in NY and saw him play all the time up until last season. he's solid but nothing special. I would rather draft one though like I said he's better than any of our guys at strong safetytheogt;2646955 said:No, he's terrible. He was terrible on the Giants and he was terrible for the Raiders. There's a difference between picking a guy up off the waiver wire where you inherit the current contract and the guy passing through waivers and becoming a free agent. The player doesn't have a say on the matter.SLATEmosphere;2646980 said:is that so? I'm pretty sure he'd want a new deal wherever he goes.
