Gil Brandt Gaga Over Bradford's Pro Day Workout

I have a good feeling about Bradford. His physical ability is apparent, but I heard a radio interview with him awhile back and he comes across very smart, confident and has some charisma.

What I'm not sure about, and what will probably determine the type of career he has is pocket awareness and a "feel" for the position. If he has that, then he'll be great. If he doesn't, then he'll bounce around for a few years and fade away.

Like I said, if I had to predict, I think he'll be very good. I hope the Rams take him ... I don't want him ending up in Washington.

When he says he loves Kordell Stewart's game as a QB, he doesnt seem so intelligent.

I honestly was never that impressed with him. He may be a decent prospect, but for Gil Brandt to act like he put on the best workout he'd seen in 20+ years is way over the top.

Stewart was great at Colorado and was a fun player to watch in the pros. One of my all-time favorite college QBs is Antoine Randel-El. What QBs you grow up liking doesn't speak to your intelligence. Get out of here with that nonsense. If you see a flaw in his game, point it out. I'll probably respectfully disagree with your opinion, but at least you'd be making a rational argument.

The only good reason to knock Bradford is his injury. I can't see anyone legitimately questioning his armstrength. I think he's a better prospect than Stafford was last year.

Spread offense quarterback = no thanks.

I agree it poses a question mark but the more schools that use it the more the NFL will have to adapt to what is coming out of college.

Stafford is much more physically gifted and so is Sanchez.

The 2 biggest things Bradford has going for him is height and accuracy and how much of his accuracy is credited to being well protected behind one of the best pass protecting Olines of all time in one of the worst years the big 12 has ever had defensively?

He was literally in a perfect situation.

I think the guy has no feel in the pocket because of how well he was protected early on in his career.

Honestly what seperates Sam Bradford from Tony Pike physically? You think Pike wouldn't have gone bonkers @ OU also? Of course he would have.

Longhorn fan here, my concern is with the pass rush, because he was so well protected his Soph year and last yr he played so little I haven't seen him stand in against a rush.

That being said I'm not sure you ever know how a guy wil respond to NFL defensive pressure.

Bradford has insane accuracy and fantastic touchm plus he's got plenty of arm. I don't see ho you couldn't take him. I think he could be special.

We'll check back in with you in a couple of years:D

Mark this one down folks....dbair says Bradford will be a monumental bust.

When you are that sure about something it's good to have so many witnesses to recall the venom. And if you're right, you can say so too!

Sanchez more physically gifted?

Bradford can be compared to Romo athletically--he starred in football, basketball, and golf...but, like Romo, is supposedly good in just about everything he tries.
