He can and will handle that. These players are not alone. This is a business ad Prescott is well educated...nobody can or will take advantage of him. This, l really believe.

Didn't intend to infer they'd be able to take advantage of him.

Somewhere along the way in most relationships of any kind, somebody's expectations don't get met. When that happens, how do the parties respond? Do they get disillusioned, lose interest, seek "greener pastures"?

Dak appears committed to himself and this team at this point and is working to improve both. If the Cowboys disappoint him in the future, the question remains whether he will remain committed to the team and improving it.

I don't think Dak's commitment to the Cowboys is anything we have to worry about, respectfully, Surfer.

Nor do we need to worry about the Cowboys ruining their relationship with him (if I'm inferring your point right). Seldom do teams let go of a franchise QB. And nary does it happen to one this promising.

I'm sure Dak will put his big boy pants on and handle whatever this future slight evil Jerry is going to bring down upon him.

I understand your sentiments completely. These modern business relationships are based on money. Top players....have nothing to be disappointed about. Prescott ect..etc.. are so well compensated that in reality there is nothing to logically complain about. Prescott, should be a long term , highly paid Cowboy. He is the type that should not have a problem with management or compensation. I should think anyway.

This is yet another reason Dak is the team's MVP. Dak not only is central figure for 65% of the yardage, he leads and sets the tone.

Dak doesn't get caught up in distractions. He works like a crazy man. He connects the squad together on the same page.

The notion that Zeke is MVP is drivel.

Never say never. And it is not all about money. For example if our D continues to disappoint and Dak starts seeing the same things that Romo did, it could get a lot less comfortable. He already saw a great performance of his come to nothing when the D could not make that final stop. How many times did Romo see this? And if it continues to happen the same morons that blamed Romo for the teams failures will start to blame him.

I still can't believe that we got the best player in last year's draft with the 135th pick. That kind of good fortune should be good for a Super Bowl or two.

He's probably not the best player in the draft..he's not even the best player we drafted..but he is the most important

I am so incredibly excited for this season. Giddy-excited. I am certain he will put to rest the remaining doubters (mostly in the media, but even the few in Cowboys Nation). Everything is right about this kid, everything points at a franchise, elite, driven, prepared QB.

Year two he will shine -- again -- and then all will bow before him.

For we will all be Dakistani's. :)
Thank you brother for the "Giddy-excited" confession. I'm guilty too. The team that is being put together around him is exciting to watch and if they can ever get that defense solidified, we are talking about the Cowboys resurrecting their dynasty status.
