Both were really good in their day. I just don’t see any reason they would or even could help this team.

Maybe Kendricks. I guess. I know he is (was) a very good tackler. But we need so much more, I just don’t see him or Gilmore making a big difference.

Again, they both are available because 31 other teams are not interested. Maybe there’s something I’m missing?

I'm surprised they haven't called C.J. Gardner-Johnson to see what he can bring. Probably too much trouble to be worth it but DAL can't be picky anymore.

I was wondering the same thing. Not sure if he did something to piss someone off or has some Zimmer stink on him that Jerry is trying to avoid. No idea, but he'd even be an upgrade to what they are currently working with.

Its sort of a roster issue....CB you still have Butler/Carson/Revel that could be active on the 53 before the year is over. That could be an issue in adding a veteran CB to the roster. At LB you'll need a roster spot for Overshown a month from now. In theory you should be able to move on fairly easy from two of Sanborn/Murray/Clark to create room for O and a guy like Kendricks, but it seems like they are going to double down on these guys.

Kendricks finished last season as our leading tackler by far (170+ total tackles). No way he is worse right now than the scrubs Eberfluke brought with him.

Stop trying to turn this season around. It's cooked. It was cooked when Jerry decided that he needs to trade away a key ingredient on the defense for picks. Best sit back and see what is done next draft to improve the defense. My guess is that nothing will be done because Jerry and his dumb kid think that this team can be competitive.
