people who don’t even know the length of a football game should just be quiet

If you think Tua improved his draft stock yesterday, you're crazy. A pair of unlikely bombs were the only reason the game was close. Tua was 21/40. 50% completion rates are not impressive. Further, to think he'd be a decent replacement for Dak is laughable.

Be our luck Brady retires or walks and the Pats sign Dak and we get 2 bottom of the first picks and no shot at a good QB.

who said anything about Tua replacing Dak?

im just laughing at the sheer stupidity of the person who thinks throwing 4 TDs on one leg against one of the best defenses in college football in “playing like a chump”

Dak gets better every game. Its insane to trade him or let him slip into free agency. And Dak is doing it with a green Off coordinator and under the 3-ring circus of Jones distractions. Remember players in Dallas have a lot to overcome that other players on other teams dont have to deal with.

Cowboys need to re-sign Cooper and Byron. Hopefully a team like the Broncos make Dak an offer. The Cowboys can get a top 10 pick in 2020 and another 1st rounder in 2021. The 2020 draft class is loaded. Tua, Burrow, Herbert, and Fromm. If the Cowboys hire Lincoln Riley they are set.
Who are not guaranteed to do anything more than Dak has. First round doesn't mean instant success. And there is enough NFL history to back that up. And for what? Bc they didn't want to pay a guy who clearly deserved it? That's damn silly.

In that situation the Cowboys could just match the Patriots offer and retain Dak.

It’s hard finding a QB in this league. I wouldn’t mess with him at all. But I would do whatever it takes to get him the best HC and staff possible.

If you guys only knew the joke around the Nfl the cowboys were and are for this whole dak contract charade. Seriously a half dozen guys who work in the league I know all day the same stuff

To put it into perspective - this would be like the chiefs franchising and screwing with Mahomes or the Texans doing this to watson. It’s on that level. Screws with stability of the entire organization. Then they paid zeke who is a totally different type of person. I’ll leave it at that but what it communicates to the Locker room and honestly the tone deaf that it displays from the Jones family is why we will never again be more than a brand. We won my be known as winners

he will be in Dallas but they have already and will waste the best years of him physically.

Sounds familiar.....Romo would have several rings if not for crap management, and sub par coaching. Garrett needs to go. Experiment over. Long overdue.

He's a great guy, but a subpar coach.

Nah. Dak will play here on a tag next year and well. We will go one and done in the playoffs and he will ask to be dealt. By that time the Jets or Dolphins or someone gives up three firsts. He goes to the new franchise and stabilizes them and plays in a SB while we go 7-9

Tua...played...like...a...chump.

The post I replied to suggested Tua to replace Dak.

The 'played on one leg' nonsense is just that.

- He barely cracked 50% completion rate.

- Lost a fumble inside the 10 and was never touched. Just straight up dropped the ball while running.

- Threw a 25 yard pass that went for a 65 yard TD to a guy so open I could've hit him.

- Threw a pick from his own 20

- Threw a 'back shoulder' TD pass that was underthrown, but the RB made a spectacular catch.

- Threw a decent little 6 yard TD

- The 85 yard TD was okay.

LSU outplayed Alabama from the jump. Tua keeps playing like that and he won't even be a backup in the NFL.

Without a QB why would we need Cooper?

lol no one is giving 2 no 1 picks for DAK....:muttley:

Well the Rams gave Goff 100 million extension and plenty of picks for Ramsey, so maybe there is somebody dumb enough.

but Dak gets plenty of endorsement money as a Cowboys QB, so...

If that happened the Cowboys could very easily lose Dak. His value on the open market would be very high.

They would only lose him if they chose to lose him. They could match any offer he receives.
