If you watch any Vikings games, Harvin and Rice are consistently catching high Brett Favre throws on a weekly basis. For some reason, Williams and Austin can't make those plays. Favre is pretty high on many of his throws but his receivers are always coming through for him. Our WR's don't do the same for Romo.

While Berrian is out there just collecting a paycheck, similar #1 situations. :)

Best play of the day...well maybe second best since I believe his td was the best but so was that tackle. He saved a touchdown. Put his body on the line. Terrible Romo performance today but today was the 1st time I saw that Tony wanted it. He put his body on the line. He didn't have to do that. I don't think we should ask our qb to do that. But he did it. Props to Tony.

Are you serious? Did you watch last year's December game against the Giants? He was limping around with a bruised back and basically willed his team to win while getting punished repeatedly. It's funny because that game showed toughness and guts in a "must win" December game. You would think it never happened because of the defense's collapse against the Ravens the following week and the total team collapse against the Eagles after that. He's shown the will to win and "wanting it" many other times while winning around 70% of his starts. Those amazing plays he often makes in the critical moments of games show desire and talent.

I haven't see many threads or posts about Romo. Dude made a critical tackle was clearly hurt and gutted it out and lead his team to a 4th quarter comeback.
Gotta give our QB some props for hanging in there!!:bicep:

Players have to play hurt all the time, and he led them to one TD after 3 1/2 quarters, so it's not as if he spent the entire game valiently scratching and clawing his way back into the game. It was a nice drive, and I wont take that away from him, but it's not a great story of triumph. The defense deserves the bigger credit for keeping us in the game when the offense couldn't.

I do. I agree he seemed to take a long time in this game to get into a groove with his passes. But the guy has some bulldog in him and just keeps coming back. I do think it would be wise to run some high percentage throws early on to help get Romo going especially on 1st down.

It looked like he was barely touched.it must have been worse from another angle. If he was that hurt which i assume he was that was courageous. His back was probably killing.I know if my lower back acts up when hooping its hell to compete.I wonder if hes gonna be ok for Thursday. He may get a shot before the game.Thats a quick turnaround.Although its a contusion so it may start feeling better by a few days too.

It's good that he toughed it out, but it's not as if he was doing something unusual in football.
