We know the Cowboys are in tough spot. But here are few players I think are headed in right direction.

1. Wilcox - turning into very physical safety who will play hurt. Dallas basically went up against Megatron in his prime today with Julio Jones. I don't see JJ on NO roster.

2. Collins - In first half he was opening monster holes with Smith/Frederick. He is road grader. As this team gets key pieces back and Dallas plays with lead Collins will be nightmare to deal with.

3. Witten - maybe toughest player I have ever seen in any sport. We are fortunate to witness this.

4. Mo Claiborne - end of first half I was thinking Dallas might want to resign him. JJ goes off in 2nd half but mostly due to no pass rush. I am to the point that I am putting Mo on other teams best WR. Thats huge step from where we were only 6 months ago.

I will say Dunbar has looked good, been pleased with his performance.

Wilcox stunk

Yep - no way to spin it. He is horrible at overcommitting his body and ends up flailing with his arms as guys fly by him.

Mo is playing like a 4th round pick. He's serviceable but does not shut guys down nor does he make splash plays which is what you would expect from his draft position. He had one opportunity today which would've been a game changer and he dropped a pretty easy interception.

Collins will be really good.

He looks like he can be specialty player that defense can't match up well with. But Dallas needs outside threat to keep the middle of field clean for him to get those juice matchups with slower LBs.

I think he can play a similar role to what New Orleans did with Sproles/Bush or Patriots/Chargers did with Danny Woodhead. He will cause fits when used properly.

I would have to rewatch, which I'm not inclined to do, but most of Jones' catches were against Patmon and Carr. He's had a very good season so far. Patmon has been getting picked on so far this season.

Yeah outside of the running backs and Claiborne and maybe Carr(I don't blame him for Julio going off..) its hard to be too excited after this loss. Claiborne has confidence now and he's healthy and stronger.

Witten.....I can appreciate the effort but his presnap penalties are going on two weeks straight. I know he's playing hurt and all things considered he played great today but man those just can't happen.

Claiborne was put 1 on 1 against Julio Jones. He was smoked.

every CB who goes 1 on 1 with JJ will get smoked this year. He is culmination of power, speed, size, health and now experience that is unstoppable force.

I agree. With that said, he was given an assignment and failed miserably.

How come Julio can beat double coverage and still be wide open, but Dez can't? Serious question! Scheme, he's better, what?

Well that was a great plan then......

Yeah. I don't blame Mo, 100%. It was definitely a scheme issue. They have no other wideouts, and they had 1 TE on the roster left, and we left him single coverage. That is mostly on God Marinelli.
