How come Julio can beat double coverage and still be wide open, but Dez can't? Serious question! Scheme, he's better, what?

I do think Dallas should learn something from how Atl used JJ. He was lineup everywhere.

Yeah. I don't blame Mo, 100%. It was definitely a scheme issue. They have no other wideouts, and they had 1 TE on the roster left, and we left him single coverage. That is mostly on God Marinelli.

Also never blitzing was stupid with all the time in the world Ryan was being afforded with the rash of injuries on the D-Line.

Claiborne looked average. Nothing special and actually got pushed and turned around in the falcon 2 and 3 receiver sets.

Julio is a better route runner. A lot of # 1 receivers beat double coverage. Jerry rice was double covered his entire career. Randy moss, Michael Irvin , Antonio brown, ect. The best way to beat double coverage is with speed and precision route running.

This is for those who don't understand the impact of body weight and size has on sports. There's a big reason there are weight classes in boxing, mma, Olympic lifting, Olympic wrestling ect....its just not fair for smaller guys to try to hold up against bigger ones for an extended period of time.

As would any defender. Julio is not only one of the best WRs in the league, but also one of the very best offensive players in the league. He dominates from the WR position, something that rarely happens. It didn't help that Ryan had a pristinely clean pocket from which to throw the ball. Jones ran deep crossing routes all day. Those routes are hard to cover, but they take time, and Ryan had plenty. You can only expect guys to cover for so long.

It's easy to double a WR, when he is the only lone threat. Cheat a safety to his side, and put the other safety closer to LOS to cover the run. Basic Cover 3 defense.

Julio isn't their only threat Roddy White is also threat. When you're having issues against the run you have to commit as many defenders as you can to stop it. Stopping the run has been an issue for the Cowboys in two of their three games.
