Glazer's extensive nugget on the Coaching Carousel

Dak finished 2nd in the MVP race last year.
Isn’t 2nd place, the first loser? I agree with you; it’s obvious Prescott had a terrible year but at the same time we came into the season with the worst RB and DT grouping in the NFL. Injuries basically took out the majority of the are DEs and half the CBs. We had average talent coming into the season with no depths and injuries took a team that probably could of competed for a wildcard spot into the 7-10 team.

That's what I see regarding the roster.

But Jerry is obviously the biggest problem.

He's held the team hostage for 30 years.
....and did the complete team a disservice by what he put on the field and at The Star. It was a UFL contender, at best.

While true, that's a misleading statement. It implies it was remotely close. It wasn't. Dak didn't get a single 1st place vote. Not one. Someone who placed worse on that list got more 1st place votes than Dak (at 1). All the rest went to Lamar Jackson with 49 of 50 first place votes. 493 points for Jackson. Josh Allen (at 5th) got the final first place vote. Dak came in with 152 votes and third place Christian McCaffrey (A Running Back) got 147. Dak almost got beat out by a RB. Let that sink in.

It wasn't even a remotely close MVP race, so saying Dak came in second is not really all that great given the SOS last year. Did it stop him from choking in the playoffs? Did it stop him from playing terrible this year?

But hey, keep cheering that he got 2nd place in MVP when there was a 341 point difference between him and first place. Hilarious.

Well, Japan finished 2nd in world war II, do you think they ran around pounding their chests over that achievement?
The Japanese did get their chests pounded, however. Back to back in the same season.

Thought it was Josh Allen? Or Purdy....either way you said Mike did nothing for them and Dak had a great year under him. Can't erase that.
** cough - contract year - cough **

How did he do AFTER he got paid?

Perhaps MM is a decent QB coach but he is average or below on so many HC levels it’s not funny.

When he mentions Offensive Candidates and McCarthy's name Glazer says "he develops quarterbacks".

Is Dak, Rush or Lance got better under his watch??? NO.
STOP!!!!!!! Man I've never seen you like this, post of the weekend!!!

THIS. So sick of hearing how great he is developing QBs. On that front he's a fraud, or our QBs stink. Or both.

various:
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Some owners will want a guy because everyone else does, some will want a guy because they fall in love during an interview, and some will want an organizational fit.
End of day it will depend a lot on personnel.

No one cares whether you think Mike can develop QBs or not. Many NFL owners will think he can.
Dallas doesn't need a QB developer this hire anyway. Dak and Rush are what they are. Create solid game plans, build a successful plan to win each week and then execute it.

The reason Cowboys fans are gaga over Ben Johnson is his weekly game plan is insanely impactful.

He develops QBs does not mean he can turn water into wine.

Mara normally gets universal praise....but hard to understand keeping that HC and GM.
