Glenn Frey, a founding member of one of the Great Rock Bands of our times, The Eagles. Great song writer, singer and musician. 67 is way too young to die.

Rest In Peace Glenn Lewis Frey
(November 6, 1948 – January 18, 2016)

Sorry to hear of this.

Great music.

And an underrated actor... He was great on "Wise-guy".

18 days into the New Year and we've already lost Natalie Cole, David Bowie, and now Glenn Frey. Make it stop.

RIP

My wife and I saw them last year. So glad we did. Awesome show!

This one caught me by surprise.

RIP

I was never a huge Eagles fan, but I respect what they did for rock and country music.

Have a friend who was heavily into the Eagles and played their music nonstop while I was at his house often in my teen years. Funny how bands you don't care for can still give you a feeling of nostalgia.

They opened a new arena in a town near me about a year ago but I didn't go......wish I did. I actually looked on-line last week to see if they were touring and found nothing. I didn't know Frey was sick. This one's a shocker.

WOW! Just 67 years old. Never saw The Eagles but really wanted to. Great musician. RIP.

It is scary the way celebrities are droping the last 3 or so weeks.

It is BDC. I never thought I'd see Frey go before Walsh. It's just a real shame.

RIP to a great song writer and performer. I was fortunate enough to have seen the Eagles back in 2008 - they were in great form.

Wow that's sad, way too early at age 67.

I had the opportunity, as a freshman in college, to see the Eagles at the Summit in Houston, very early in their "Hotel California" tour, about 1976 or so. It was too cool...at one point Frey said "Heres a song from our new album that you've probably never heard before", and launched into "New Kid in Town". None of us had ever heard a cut from that album until that night. Still one of my best concert memories ever. Rip Mr Frey.

They've been one of my favorite bands since the early 70's. I was fortunate enough to see them close to 15 times over that span of years. Such a sad day, rest in peace Glenn.
