He's running, and he's going to start running routes and cutting soon. If he feels good when he starts doing that, he'll be back on the field shortly.

I know he's a great talent, but I worry that he might have lost a step. If he doesn't have all of his speed then his deep-threat abilities are going to take a hit, and thats what his role in the offense will be.

I'm nervous that since everyone is playing so well and knows their roles now, that him coming back could screw that up.

I doubt wade is going to start him at 2nd WR right away. it's most likly we wont see him untill the playoffs but i figure they will use him in the slot mostly.

for once I would like for the talking heads to acknowledge that this O has been playing the whole year w/o Terry Glenn

I can only imagine the reception he'll receive from his teammates when he scores his 1st TD this year

When we go to a 3 WR set I would think that Glenn would be replacing Hurd rather than Crayton.

I would be very surprised to see him start and play more than half of the snaps.

Does anybody know what's going on with terry glenn?

Word is, he is going to start running routes and see how it goes. Jerry Jones hinted (or outright said) he probably won't play a single down in the regular season. They will hold him out until the playoffs.

If he can play 100% for that first playoff game we should have a field day with him.

No team would have a clue as to how we were going to use him and how to defend us. There is no stopping a three headed monster of To,Witten and a healthy Glenn in the passing game.

He will probably be the slot receiver. Nice little slot receiver to have IMHO.

My only worry if we don't use him until the playoffs will be amount of rust and timing with Romo. Last thing we need for Romo to think he'll be at one spot and throw there while Glenn somewhere else and we get picked off. Don't need any mistakes in the playoff--although do admit we seem have no problem overcoming any thing.

We probably shouldn't change what works. But how do you guys feel about us doing what Greenbay and go five wide when Glen gets back? Tony has a quick release. Think it could work?

is Crayton is a great WR in the slot. When TG comes back our 3 Wide Sets are going to be unstoppable.

Exactly! Glenn's absense - and Parcells' for that matter - is what has allowed Owens and Crayton to step it up and be the forces they are. Parcells had it in for TO and never "trusted" Crayton, labeling him as too soft. Now with tha has-been gone, and with the has-been's Parcells-Guy (i.e. Glenn) out of the equation, TO and Crayton have taken the offense to the next level. What I fear is that "She" finally makes it back and disrupts the chemistry already in place.

I'm with sago: I'd like to see him get some snaps against Carolina and/or the foreskins. If he can, he will guys. As sago and other said, you need to get some reps for timing sake. UNLESS they just run him deep a few times and air it out. That could work well for real or as a decoy.

I agree 100% as well.

It's going to take Glenn a few games to get back into it. It would be great if he could get snaps for the Carolina and Commanders games.

Plus, it would probably help his confidence with respect to his knees holding up, etc.

I don't recall Parcells labeling Crayton as too soft.

we do not need him right now- we will for the playoffs. Up against the best defenses in the NFL, TG just might make the difference. The best D's have 2 good or very good CBs, and usually a very good FS, with a pretty good #3 CB. So that with good LBs they could possibly contain TO, Witten and Crayton- just barely, but possible. BUT throw in TG, and its all over. The thin line BREAKS.
