Glenn

No he didn't.

Actually I said that... not Jerry Jones.

And I stand by it... I guess a game or 2 in the regular season would help him adjust but I honestly wouldn't mind him coming back and contributing in the playoffs alone, if possible.

Terry Glenn is a flat out weapon in slot and in a 3rd WR role....

I wouldn't expect anything from Glenn. That way there's no disappointment. Anything that happens extra is gravy. Glenn has a great attitude, but his chances of playing are iffy. And it is far too likely that if he does get on the field, his creaky knee will blow out again.

I will cross my fingers though.

A lot of guys on this board have forgotten exactly how good he has been for us, clearly the number one guy last year when teams figured out how to stop Owens (not that hard when you fail to move him around).

Even at 80% he is an upgrade over Crayton/Hurd/Austin, a healthy Glenn for the playoffs would mean teams would have another thing to think about - and make our offense (2nd best in the game) even more dynamic. I don't think his days our done in Dallas this year, or next year.

for once I would like for the talking heads to acknowledge that this O has been playing the whole year w/o Terry Glenn

I can only imagine the reception he'll receive from his teammates when he scores his 1st TD this year

Can you imagine if Stokley went out for a month and the Pats continued to win? We'd never hear the end of their greatness.

I know he's a great talent, but I worry that he might have lost a step. If he doesn't have all of his speed then his deep-threat abilities are going to take a hit, and thats what his role in the offense will be.
I guess we'll have to see what he has in the tank. However, if he is healthy, he will have fresh legs and if he has speed close to what he had last season, I think he can be very productive us.

It was that long ago (last season) when he was a 1,000 yard WR.

You meant Wes Welker right? Stokely plays for the Broncos I think.
