Has anyone heard whats up with Terry Glenn? I haerd he would be out about six weeks and we are past that now.

He's not ready and said he's not gonna rush back this time. It's anyone's guess but i certainly wouldn't expect him back for Philly in 17 days and it could very well be mid november, but that's just MPO.

We will probably get Henry, Terry Glenn and Oliver Hoyte back after the bye. Then the next week we'll get Tank Johnson. Thats how I figure it will work out. We'll be stronger the 2nd half of the season as long as nothing new pops up.

Henry walked in the drills today and the guys on Talkin Cowboys said he went back to work with trainers after a couple drills. Glenn isn't even joining the team at practice. I think it's possible that Henry get's back in 17 days but thinking Glenn is gonna all of a sudden come back in 17 days is wishful thinking IMHO.

Glenn is rehabbing on the practice field, isn't he?

I don't realize that Glenn was on the sidelines during the Patriots game. I knew he attended the game. Anyway, last I heard he intended to start running either this week or next week but wouldn't name a date for when he would start playing. Frankly, I don't expect him before the Skins game in Dallas although we sure could use a healthy, speedy Glenn for the Giants game in NY.

Yeah he was at the Pats game.

Word seems to be that he will be running this coming week, so figure that in 2 weeks he will probably be ready to play but not start.

Yep, I'm thinking Glenn is going to be week-to-week, until the Green Bay game, where he will play sparingly, but will target the playoffs for his late season heroics. I don't see Jerry re-signing Glenn either, as Jerry will have seen what a restocking effort produced in New England.

So with this being the case who do you think Jones would go after for a restocking effort?

I could see us taking a shot at Fitz. Stallworth is also a free agent after this year, And antonio Bryant is out there as well lol. There are some nice prospects in the draft and we have some young guys now. We still have no idea where Stanback stands as far as the future of this team goes. The fact is the only people who realy know what we have are the coaches because we don't get to watch the practice squad they do. For all we know Stanback could be the next Jerry Rice (Highly doubt it but) we have no idea what is going on durring practice.

I'd imagine he's active by the Giants game, but won't play every snap. He'll work in over those next few games.

Yes, no and hell no.

We should go after a #1 WR regardless of Stanback.

Ditto.

I'd trade a 1st for Fitz and I'd try to get Turner at RB in FA. With the other 1st I'd target CB/Secondary player, if available. If no CB available at that spot, I'd also be happy with a big run stuffing NT (Wilfolk type) to take over for Fergy and share snaps and get a solid CB prospect later on.

And I love the idea of finally grooming OL for future years (like we did this draft). Well, I guess we tried in previous years but missed . . . . But I'd like to add another OG to compete against Kosier later in the Draft.

This surgery was a stop-gap measure so who knows?

Maybe he will be back as an elite receiver. Maybe he won't be back at all.

I'm pretty much thinking that way. I don't want that to happen but he just seems that will be the case.
