Glover played a lot. He was lined up next to Ferguson quite a bit in the four man line. I think Ratliff also rotated in at DT and Canty as well.

Ok, sure Nors. Just can't take a win and be happy.

We actually played a 1-10 defense. I know that we had 4 DL in a 3 point stance, but they were actually scheming as defensive backs.

We get up 17-0 like we did out of gate it changes everything!

Sure is nice having a bunch of better players than last season. The best thing is that the young guys are just still learning. They can and will get better, improving the defense. Thankfully, Bill and Jerry decided to bring in some talent on the defensive side of the ball.

3-4 principles with a 4 man line. Who has been talking about that forever? Are you finally clueing in on what I have been talking about? And how effective it can be?

I want to see more of it. Get those talented DL on the field.

Its nice to be able to play several schemes. Versatility...

The Feagles don't run much at all...So we play nickel most of the game. Not to surprised since we saw NE do about the same thing in the Super Bowl...and won with it.

3-4, 4-3 mixed looks. Ware needs to get away from NFL Tackles - he getting mauled man up. Canty, Spears, Ferguson a nasty front 3 that should be starting and playing more and more.

We gave up 6 first downs! 4 sacks - So glad we went 3-4 base this year.

I agree completely about the DL. Why not throw Glover, Ellis, Ratliff in there too?

Ware can hang with OTs, I don't care what BP says. Freeney does it.

I am not against 3-4 ideas or principles, fine by me. I just want to see the DL on the field more than the LBers. The talent is at DL.

I am all for getting Singleton off the field. Especially if he is replaced by a DL.

I started another thread a few minutes ago. We attacked Eagles a lot like Patriots did in SB. THe blueprint to destruct McSoup is ALIVE!

Don't bother explaining that to the 4-3 crowd. They struggle to comprehend that. Parcells explained it in detail in training camp at PC's.

Don't get too wrapped up on who did or didn't make plays yesterday. The Eagles only ran 42 plays yesterday (and one was a kneel down) -- to put that in context, even the worst offensive team last year averaged nearly 60 plays a game.

If there are only 40 offensive snaps for the Eagles it means guys like Glover got 25 snaps tops - likely fewer. You can't do much statistically with so few opportunities.
