not really. If the team could just play six innings they would be in great shape. I would not get all giddy about the Phillies tho. They have about the same problems as the Mets except they have Lidge.

The Phillies will be fine. Our starting pitching is getting even stronger, as well as our lineup of Utley, Howard, Rollins, Burrell, Victorino, Werth. <---just a sick lineup

Is that the same Burrell, Utley, Myers and Howard you guys were hoping would die a couple of weeks ago. LOL, those guys are one strikeout or one bad pitch from having the wrath of Philly raining down on them.

one game behind in the loss column. You know if they are tied at the end, the Mets win the East. Last week is nerve wrecking. I took the wife out to dinner and a movie tonight. When I came out of the movie I checked my cell phone for scores and saw the Mets winning and Phillies losing. I might need to go to another dinner and movie tomorrow night.

congrats philly fans. It is nice to have a guy for the 9th inning you can rely on. He was the difference between the Mets and the Phillies.

Tomorrow I am going to the Packer game in Tampa but checking the scores on my cell phone until the battery dies.

Meanwhile I figure we need all the help we can get to get into the playoffs.
