I'm 5-9, and 185 pounds as of this morning... by doctor's standards, I would be considered overweight, but as my doctor put it, most people don't have the deep chest and broad shoulders that I do... if one has a muscular build, he'll measure out as "overweight"... bottom line, to have one set of standards that say if you're this tall, you shouldn't weigh any more than this much is idiotic; Dat Nguyen in his prime was like 5-10 and 245 pounds, but only a moron would have suggested he was overweight...
Mind you, I'm pushing 60, and I've got a LITTLE paunch... I have a 35 inch waist right now, and would very much like to take an inch or so off of that number... but I'm pretty confident that you won't see many 60 year olds in better shape than I am...
