Looks like he will be a former Eagle fairly soon. His age will be what scares some teams off."With Dallas Goedert being 30-years-old, it's a strong tight end class, I wonder how committed they are to paying him a contract," Shorr-Parks continued. "So, I think by free agency next week, you'll probably see some resolution by this."
Looks like they are cutting salary. He is on the last year of his deal. He has missed a few games in each of the last three seasons. When healthy he is clearly better than anyone we have and he is a beast in the run game. Dude is the opposite of soft. Dak would love him. But he is 30.What is wrong with him?
Next year (2026) is a void year and they prorated his last contract over the next 3 or 4 seasons! What is wrong with him?
Ding, ding, ding. But, but, but, who do we have that is better than him? How can we just move on? They will do it with Hurts (and any other B-level player) the nanosecond he shows less mobility-because that’s his special weapon.See what good GMs do Jerry?
They dont ‘reward’ old players with top contracts, they cut them or trade them
The birds should keep him. He misses a few games but he makes about every catch thrown his way in the playoffs and blocks as well as any TE. I would rather them add a year to his contract. Not an easy replace. No, at this point injury prone and in the past he has been very clear that he hates Dallas.
Ditto here.Looks like he will be a former Eagle fairly soon. His age will be what scares some teams off.
I'm a NO for him being a Cowboy.
Uhh the Eagles already rewarded him that’s why they are trying to trade him lolSee what good GMs do Jerry?
