I've seen many sites saying Goff has an NFL average arm but the below article said they clocked Goff throwing the ball at 58mph. Putting him a elite company as far a velocity goes. It seems from the velocity that Goff has a comparable arm to Lynch, Cousins, Weeden and kap.

I think he has a much stronger arm that scouts give him credit for.

that shows he lacks deep ball accuracy, not arm strength. literally any nfl QB can throw it 50+ yards and rarely will they need to go further than that. arm strength is only relevant when looking at velocity and specifically the ability of the QB to get the ball to a point before a defender can break on it, not how far he can throw it.

I honestly don't know what you guys are talking about. The best part of Goff's game are his deep passes.

I'll have to re-look at some tape on him, but I didn't really see his deep balls as an area of primary concern. If they are short, it could be as simple as cleaning up his mechanics and finding a different release point. I have little concerns about his arm strength however.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Rather than thinking you missed something, I'd ask that those making the claims substantiate those claims with proof. And then never hear from those people again.

I went back and looked at every snap he has every including pop warner.

Positives:

-He is over 6'
-Has two arms
-Not a direct disended of Hitler

Negatives:
-Every pass will be picked off in NFL
-There are some who doubt he can even spell his own name
-Has a stupid haircut
-He sucks
-Eats farts
-May be a serial rapist
-Drives a Geo Metro
-His mother hates him
-Ugly face

So you see, the bad clearly outweighs the good

First of all..how did Cousins make his way into that group?

Secondly, and more importantly, Goff absolutely doesn't have the same arm strength as Kaepernick, Weeden, etc..absolutely not

go to youtube. I posted proof of Ramsey being trash at corner and noone responded. I saw Goff vs USC and he has a weak arm.

It's something I've noticed before, so if you check it out, you'll see some WRs slowing down, but those were plays where the WRs was completely wide open, and Goff may hve been more worried about the over throw...hence the deep ball placement comment I made.

I just re-watched that tape twice. Are there specific plays where you thought his arm was particularly weak, cause I'm not really seeing it. Could he have made better decisions with the ball and could he have placed it better on some plays? Absolutely, but that could be said about any quaterback at any level if you start dissecting their tape. I also don't think he has an elite arm, so I'm not going to pay attention to the recorded velocity of his throws (or any other QBs) during the combine. The only time I start concerning myself with velocity is if it is grossly inadequate, and Goff's isn't (not by along shot).

I think that may very well be the case and not specific to Goff, but all QBs at all levels.

yea, I agree, which is why I'm not worried. literally the numbers say he does not have a weak arm, not sure how anyone can argue that.
